Un coup\u00e9 V12 grande y discreto, a menudo olvidado en la historia de la marca, parec\u00eda condenado a permanecer a la sombra del Testarossa, el F40 o el 550 Maranello. Y sin embargo, en Estados Unidos, un propietario decidi\u00f3 reescribir por completo su destino... aunque para ello tuviera que gastarse casi 2 millones de d\u00f3lares. \u00bfEl resultado? Probablemente el Ferrari 412 m\u00e1s radical, m\u00e1s caro y m\u00e1s impresionante jam\u00e1s construido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un proyecto extraordinario de Otsuka Maxwell Design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Este restomod extremo se confi\u00f3 a Otsuka Maxwell Design (OMD), un taller de San Diego famoso por sus creaciones a medida sin concesiones. Se invirtieron m\u00e1s de 5.000 horas de trabajo en transformar este 412 de arriba abajo. El V12 original ha desaparecido. En su lugar, OMD ha instalado el V12 atmosf\u00e9rico de 6,5 litros del Ferrari 812 Superfast, uno de los motores m\u00e1s espectaculares que ha producido Ferrari. Pero la integraci\u00f3n no se limit\u00f3 a un simple intercambio. Para reforzar el v\u00ednculo visual con la \u00e9poca del 412, el motor est\u00e1 equipado con tapas de v\u00e1lvulas especiales de estilo retro. T\u00e9cnicamente, la transformaci\u00f3n es a\u00fan m\u00e1s profunda, con la admisi\u00f3n y la caja de aire fabricadas totalmente en carbono a medida. El Ferrari 812 Superfast nunca se ha ofrecido con caja de cambios manual. OMD acept\u00f3 el reto. El taller parti\u00f3 de la caja de cambios autom\u00e1tica de un Ferrari 599 GTB, que transform\u00f3 por completo para crear una caja de cambios manual de seis velocidades con rejilla met\u00e1lica. La carrocer\u00eda est\u00e1 acabada en Superfast Gold combinado con negro, un gui\u00f1o deliberado al Ferrari 812. Las modificaciones son numerosas: parachoques redise\u00f1ados y m\u00e1s compactos, aletas m\u00e1s anchas y llantas forjadas Brixton de 18 pulgadas desarrolladas espec\u00edficamente para el proyecto. OMD ha redise\u00f1ado por completo el habit\u00e1culo con una mezcla de Alc\u00e1ntara, pieles de alta gama y carbono.
