Pero para entender por qu\u00e9 este nombre sigue resonando con tanta fuerza hoy en d\u00eda, tenemos que remontarnos casi sesenta a\u00f1os atr\u00e1s, a otro 33 Stradale, nacido en 1967. Un coche tan m\u00edtico como parad\u00f3jico, cuyos fracasos comerciales dieron lugar a algunos de los mejores concept cars de la historia del automovilismo italiano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El 33 Stradale original: obra maestra t\u00e9cnica, fracaso financiero<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Los or\u00edgenes del 33 Stradale se encuentran en el Alfa Romeo Tipo 33, un coche de carreras desarrollado para dominar las pruebas de resistencia. En contra de la l\u00f3gica habitual, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/alfa-romeo\/\">Alfa Romeo<\/a> decidi\u00f3 alejarse de la competici\u00f3n y crear una versi\u00f3n de carretera, con el fin de homologar el coche y obtener cierto prestigio con \u00e9l. A modo de comparaci\u00f3n, un Ferrari 275 GTB costaba alrededor de 6.500.000 liras. En aquella \u00e9poca, un mill\u00f3n de liras equival\u00eda a unos 1.600 d\u00f3lares estadounidenses. A pesar de su prestigio y prestaciones, el 33 Stradale ni siquiera cubr\u00eda sus costes de producci\u00f3n. Alfa Romeo pretend\u00eda vender 50 unidades, pero la realidad fue muy distinta: s\u00f3lo unos pocos ejemplares completos encontraron comprador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oficialmente, se fabricaron 18 chasis del 33 Stradale. No todos llegar\u00edan a venderse en la forma imaginada por Scaglione. Y es precisamente ah\u00ed donde comienza otra historia, la de un excepcional terreno de juego ofrecido a los m\u00e1s grandes carroceros italianos. A falta de clientes, Alfa Romeo puso a disposici\u00f3n de prestigiosos carroceros una serie de chasis inutilizados. Pininfarina, Bertone e Italdesign aprovecharon entonces esta base excepcional para proponer su propia visi\u00f3n del deportivo definitivo. Cada proyecto es \u00fanico, radicalmente diferente de los dem\u00e1s, y refleja la mete\u00f3rica evoluci\u00f3n del dise\u00f1o de autom\u00f3viles entre finales de los a\u00f1os sesenta y mediados de los setenta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Carabo: la ruptura total de Bertone<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Presentado en 1968, el Alfa Romeo Carabo fue sin duda el concepto m\u00e1s revolucionario surgido del 33 Stradale. Marcello Gandini, entonces un joven dise\u00f1ador de Bertone, adopt\u00f3 un enfoque totalmente opuesto al dise\u00f1o sensual de Scaglione. Aqu\u00ed ya no hab\u00eda curvas: todo eran \u00e1ngulos, l\u00edneas tensas y formas geom\u00e9tricas. El Carabo presenta una silueta en cu\u00f1a extremadamente baja, puertas de apertura vertical, faros retr\u00e1ctiles y un enfoque radical de la aerodin\u00e1mica. Pintado en un verde fluorescente inspirado en el escarabajo Carabus Auratus, con cap\u00f3 naranja y cristales dorados reflectantes, impacta tanto como fascina. Influy\u00f3 directamente en futuros iconos como el Lancia Stratos Zero, el Maserati Khamsin y, m\u00e1s tarde, el Lamborghini Countach. S\u00f3lo se fabric\u00f3 un ejemplar, que ahora se encuentra en el Museo Alfa Romeo de Arese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">33 Roadster GS: la visi\u00f3n experimental de Pininfarina<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ese mismo a\u00f1o, en el Sal\u00f3n del Autom\u00f3vil de Tur\u00edn, Pininfarina presenta el Alfa Romeo 33 Roadster GS, dise\u00f1ado por Paolo Martin. Donde Bertone buscaba abrir nuevos caminos, Pininfarina experimentaba. Este roadster de baja altura combina superficies suaves y l\u00edneas limpias, con una identidad visual reconocible al instante. El frontal est\u00e1 marcado por una inusual firma luminosa formada por seis faros en fila. Un ancho parachoques de goma negra recorre toda la anchura, mientras que dos alerones negros flanquean las aletas delanteras. En la parte trasera, un enorme aler\u00f3n naranja domina el motor. El 33 Roadster GS seguir\u00e1 siendo \u00fanico, pero servir\u00e1 de base para una evoluci\u00f3n a\u00fan m\u00e1s extrema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">33 Coup\u00e9 Speciale: la sofisticaci\u00f3n seg\u00fan Fioravanti<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1969, Pininfarina volvi\u00f3 a hacerlo con el Alfa Romeo Tipo 33\/2 Coup\u00e9 Speciale, dise\u00f1ado por Leonardo Fioravanti. Presentada en el Sal\u00f3n del Autom\u00f3vil de Par\u00eds, esta versi\u00f3n adopta un enfoque m\u00e1s tecnol\u00f3gico y lujoso. Al final, se qued\u00f3 en una pieza \u00fanica, un s\u00edmbolo de lo que el 33 Stradale podr\u00eda haber llegado a ser si Alfa Romeo hubiera perseverado en el mercado de los supercoches de carretera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Iguana: el nacimiento del estilo Giugiaro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Con el<a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/alfa-romeo\/este-alfa-romeo-iguana-concept-con-un-motor-v8-que-parece-un-delorean-usa-una-base-que-vale-lor\/\">Iguana<\/a>Presentado en 1969, el Iguana fue una de las primeras declaraciones estil\u00edsticas de Giorgetto Giugiaro bajo la bandera de Italdesign. Basado en el chasis 750.33.116, el Iguana sigui\u00f3 utilizando el V8 de 2,0 litros y 230 CV, antes de adoptar posteriormente el V8 de 2,6 litros del Alfa Montreal por razones de fiabilidad. Visualmente, el concepto contrastaba con todo lo que hab\u00eda en el mercado en aquel momento. Su carrocer\u00eda de fibra de vidrio gris metalizado, el techo y los pilares de metal cepillado, las l\u00edneas angulosas y el parabrisas hundido daban al Iguana un aspecto casi atemporal. Presentado en el Sal\u00f3n del Autom\u00f3vil de Bruselas, abandonaba casi por completo la redondez en favor de un perfil puro y afilado en forma de cu\u00f1a. El coche no tiene puertas, el parabrisas forma una visera envolvente y las tomas de aire NACA esculpen los flancos. En la parte trasera, seis faros y ocho tubos de escape evocan el mundo de las carreras de lanchas motoras.
