Su solo nombre evoca inmediatamente im\u00e1genes de cambios de marcha bruscos, movimientos bruscos y una mec\u00e1nica brutal que algunos odian... y otros adoran, yo el primero. Las encontrar\u00e1 en los Ferrari 360 Modena, F430, 599, hasta en el legendario Enzo, y por parte de Maserati en el GranTurismo y el Quattroporte. Y sin embargo, estas fascinantes transmisiones tienen una terca reputaci\u00f3n: son poco fiables, temperamentales y caras de mantener. Una idea preconcebida que ya hab\u00eda disipado en gran medida en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/maserati\/merece-la-pena-comprar-un-maserati-granturismo-v8-de-segunda-mano-por-el-precio-de-un-peugeot-3008\/\">mi gu\u00eda de compra del GranTurismo<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de esta mala imagen general, existe una creencia a\u00fan m\u00e1s extendida, un reflejo casi sistem\u00e1tico entre los propietarios e incluso en algunos talleres: cuando se est\u00e1 parado en un sem\u00e1foro en rojo, es imperativo volver a poner punto muerto para no desgastar el embrague. Yo mismo he recibido este consejo. Y si no paras de o\u00edrlo, acabas por aceptarlo como una verdad absoluta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero... no. Y es precisamente este mito el que Nicolas, mec\u00e1nico y gerente del taller Briago de Burdeos (en Francia para nuestros lectores de todo el mundo), se ha propuesto desmentir. Es un tema que, evidentemente, le molesta sobremanera, hasta el punto de que ha cogido un Ferrari F430, una c\u00e1mara y ha rodado una demostraci\u00f3n cristalina dirigida a todos los propietarios de boxes de F1 del mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Su pregunta es sencilla: \u00bfrealmente se debe volver a cambiar a punto muerto cuando se espera en un sem\u00e1foro en rojo? Esta teor\u00eda se basa en la idea de que dejar engranada la primera marcha har\u00eda patinar el embrague, lo que provocar\u00eda un desgaste prematuro. Es una afirmaci\u00f3n tan extendida que parece evidente. Pero Nicolas va a demostrar, con im\u00e1genes que lo corroboran, que es totalmente falsa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/boite-f1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-44049\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/boite-f1-1.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/boite-f1-1-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/boite-f1-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/boite-f1-1-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>El motor del F430 est\u00e1 en marcha y la primera velocidad est\u00e1 engranada. Nicolas levanta el pie del freno. En un coche con el embrague conectado, la carrocer\u00eda deber\u00eda permanecer inm\u00f3vil, sujeta por la fricci\u00f3n. Pero pide a un compa\u00f1ero que empuje el Ferrari... y el coche avanza sin resistencia. Si hubiera el m\u00e1s m\u00ednimo deslizamiento, el m\u00e1s m\u00ednimo indicio de embrague, permanecer\u00eda plantado en el suelo. Aqu\u00ed, nada. Todav\u00eda con el motor en marcha, todav\u00eda en primera, todav\u00eda parado, demuestra que el disco de embrague no roza en absoluto. Ni la m\u00e1s m\u00ednima fricci\u00f3n. Nada. E insiste: si una caja de cambios de F1 \"roza\" cuando est\u00e1 parada y en marcha, es porque est\u00e1 mal ajustada. Tambi\u00e9n en este caso, Nicolas lo desmiente completamente. En una caja de cambios de F1, es al rev\u00e9s: el cojinete de desembrague presiona sobre el mecanismo cuando el coche est\u00e1 en punto muerto. Para demostrarlo, utiliza una herramienta poco habitual en este tipo de v\u00eddeos: un endoscopio. Filmando directamente el mecanismo, con el motor en marcha, demuestra que, efectivamente, es en punto muerto cuando el cojinete de desembrague ejerce presi\u00f3n, aunque el embrague est\u00e9 desembragado. Si est\u00e1s en un stop o un sem\u00e1foro en rojo durante unos segundos, puedes dejar la primera marcha engranada sin ning\u00fan riesgo. Si vas a estar parado m\u00e1s tiempo, cambiar a punto muerto tampoco supone ning\u00fan problema. En ambos casos, ni el embrague ni el cojinete de desembrague sufrir\u00e1n un desgaste inusual. Entonces, \u00bfest\u00e1s de acuerdo o en desacuerdo con \u00e9l?
