Comenz\u00f3 su carrera en la d\u00e9cada de 1980, pero se tom\u00f3 un descanso de las carreras a mediados de la d\u00e9cada de 1990, antes de reaparecer en 2004 al volante de un Alfa Romeo 33, con el que gan\u00f3 su primer t\u00edtulo italiano. Despu\u00e9s se pas\u00f3 a un Alfa Romeo 147, con el que gan\u00f3 la categor\u00eda Gr.A 2000 en 2009, antes de poner sus miras en un Alfa Romeo 156 D2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El \u00faltimo campe\u00f3n del Biscione<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde 2010, Cimarelli conduce un Alfa Romeo 156 D2 (o 156 SuperTurismo D2), desarrollado por N-Technology, el departamento de competici\u00f3n del Grupo Alfa Romeo. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/alfa-romeo\/\">Alfa Romeo<\/a> en aquel momento, a finales de la d\u00e9cada de 1990, para cumplir la normativa Super 2000 para turismos. El DTM (que se convirti\u00f3 en el ITC en 1995), en el que hab\u00eda participado el 155 V6, hab\u00eda desaparecido a finales de 1996, y con \u00e9l la espectacular categor\u00eda Clase 1 a la que pertenec\u00eda el 155. Su heredero, el 156, estaba por tanto destinado a competir en los campeonatos cl\u00e1sicos de superturismo, con un motor de 2 litros, lo que hizo con br\u00edo: dos t\u00edtulos de campe\u00f3n de Italia y cuatro de Europa, entre 1998 y 2004. Y le guste o no, \u00a1fue el \u00faltimo Alfa Romeo que tuvo un programa oficial de competici\u00f3n! Casi 30 a\u00f1os...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Una segunda vida en la monta\u00f1a<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Al igual que el 155 V6 Ti, que tambi\u00e9n disfrut\u00f3 de la gloria en subida tras el final del DTM\/ITC, los 156 han tenido una \"segunda vida\" en las carreteras de monta\u00f1a. El coche de Cimarelli conservaba inicialmente el motor atmosf\u00e9rico de 2,0 litros derivado del Twin Spark del D2, que, tras una actualizaci\u00f3n en 2012, desarrollaba unos 330 CV a 9.000 rpm y 240 Nm de par a 7.500 rpm. Segu\u00eda siendo tracci\u00f3n delantera, lo que puede resultar ventajoso en carreteras sinuosas a la salida de las horquillas. El motor es un 100 % de aspiraci\u00f3n natural, sin turbo ni sobrealimentaci\u00f3n, una elecci\u00f3n purista para la clase E1-2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Alfa Romeo 156 SuperTurismo D2 \/\/ 330CV\/9.000Rpm FWD Monster\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/CNq-v2_9bfk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un Supertouring \"Evoluzione<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El 156 D2 recibi\u00f3 una serie de mejoras aerodin\u00e1micas, que le dieron un aspecto a\u00fan m\u00e1s agresivo que el supertourer b\u00e1sico. El aler\u00f3n trasero \"de filo de cuchillo\" era ajustable (\u00e1ngulo de 8\u00b0 a 14\u00b0) y estaba fabricado en carbono, mientras que la hoja delantera de carbono se ampli\u00f3 8 cm con la adici\u00f3n de varios ap\u00e9ndices. El chasis, por supuesto, se beneficiaba de una suspensi\u00f3n optimizada para las subidas de pendientes y un peso reducido para una agilidad m\u00e1xima. El resultado est\u00e9tico no es necesariamente muy agradable a la vista... pero desde el punto de vista del rendimiento y la competici\u00f3n, ha merecido la pena, ya que este a\u00f1o gan\u00f3 la categor\u00eda E2SH en la 63\u00aa edici\u00f3n de la Copa de Europa de Turismos.<sup>e<\/sup> Svolte de Popoli. L\u00e1stima que no hayamos podido obtener m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n sobre el motor.
