Vincent Lagache es un piloto de Vy-l\u00e8s-Lure (Haute-Sa\u00f4ne) que ha corrido durante mucho tiempo con VHC (veh\u00edculos hist\u00f3ricos de competici\u00f3n), incluido el R5 Turbo, antes de pasarse a los coches modernos. Restaurador de coches desde 2009, Vincent Lagache nunca ha ocultado su amor desmesurado por las bellezas italianas, lo que le llev\u00f3 a adquirir un Ferrari 458 Challenge para la temporada 2016. Por desgracia, la belleza italiana sufri\u00f3 da\u00f1os considerables al salirse de la carretera: \"Sab\u00eda que iba a tener que desmontarlo, y pens\u00e9 que ten\u00eda la oportunidad de hacer con \u00e9l un coche mucho m\u00e1s avanzado. Esto tambi\u00e9n permiti\u00f3 cambiar el tama\u00f1o de los neum\u00e1ticos de las 19 pulgadas originales a los mismos neum\u00e1ticos de 18 pulgadas que se encuentran en la mayor\u00eda de los coches que compiten en la categor\u00eda GTTS\/4. Le aconsejaron un motor m\u00e1s afilado. Sin carga, pesa unos 1.100 kg para 760 CV, lo que supone una relaci\u00f3n peso\/potencia de 1,44 para un motor que desarrolla 177 CV\/litro.
