Pero hay una categor\u00eda a\u00fan m\u00e1s rara: los prototipos. Y entre ellos, los extra\u00f1os Ferrari 458 con motor V12, apodados \"458 Frankenstein\", ocupan un lugar especial. Construidos en Maranello a principios de la d\u00e9cada de 2010 para desarrollar el futuro LaFerrari, hoy se han convertido en piezas de coleccionista tan fascinantes como impredecibles en cuanto a precio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un 458 Italia... como ning\u00fan otro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A primera vista, parece un simple 458 Italia. Pero basta una mirada m\u00e1s atenta para darse cuenta de que algo no va del todo bien. Las proporciones parecen ligeramente alteradas, aparecen aletas remachadas en los laterales y la parte trasera est\u00e1 a veces burdamente cortada para permitir el paso de conductos de aire o de escape. Estos coches, aunque oficiales, han sido transformados por la propia Ferrari en aut\u00e9nticos laboratorios sobre ruedas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ferrari-458-V12.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42747\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ferrari-458-V12.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ferrari-458-V12-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ferrari-458-V12-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ferrari-458-V12-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Bajo su carrocer\u00eda de aluminio, esconden el V12 F140 de 6,3 litros, el mismo que m\u00e1s adelante propulsar\u00e1 al LaFerrari y sus 963 caballos combinados (t\u00e9rmicos y el\u00e9ctricos). Estos prototipos se utilizaron para probar los frenos, la suspensi\u00f3n, el sistema de recuperaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda y el ESP del futuro hipercoche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ferrari-458-v1-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42748\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ferrari-458-v1-2.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ferrari-458-v1-2-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ferrari-458-v1-2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ferrari-458-v1-2-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Denominados Muletto M4 o M6 en funci\u00f3n de su fase de desarrollo, estos veh\u00edculos circularon casi a diario por el circuito de Fiorano entre 2011 y 2013. Pero unos pocos sobrevivieron, ofrecidos o vendidos a clientes cuidadosamente seleccionados, con la condici\u00f3n de que nunca se matricularan ni se utilizaran en un circuito p\u00fablico. A pesar de su certificado Ferrari Classiche y su famoso Libro Amarillo, el prototipo no encontr\u00f3 comprador. Tres a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde, en octubre de 2025, el mismo ejemplar reapareci\u00f3, esta vez en una subasta en l\u00ednea organizada por RM Sotheby's de Maranello. Y esta vez s\u00ed encontr\u00f3 comprador, a un precio a\u00fan mantenido en secreto, pero probablemente cercano al mill\u00f3n de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Una calificaci\u00f3n inestable<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Los resultados de ventas recientes muestran lo variable que puede ser el valor de estos prototipos. En agosto de 2022, otra mula del LaFerrari se vendi\u00f3 por s\u00f3lo 715.000 d\u00f3lares, mientras que otro ejemplar alcanz\u00f3 los 1,6 millones de d\u00f3lares ese mismo a\u00f1o. El a\u00f1o es 2025, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/ferrari\/este-extrano-prototipo-de-ferrari-458-italia-vale-mas-de-1-millon-y-no-se-puede-conducir\/\">el prototipo M4<\/a>que se vendi\u00f3 en Pebble Beach por 1,215 millones de d\u00f3lares. Otro ejemplo: un prototipo de PS1 se vendi\u00f3 por 2,5 millones de $ en 2022, pero luego no encontr\u00f3 comprador por 1,9 millones de $ en 2023...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En otras palabras, estos \"Frankenstein\" 458 V12 desaf\u00edan toda l\u00f3gica de mercado. Su valor depende m\u00e1s de su historia individual, de su papel preciso en el desarrollo, de su estado y de sus certificados, que de un precio establecido. Su condici\u00f3n de prototipos oficiales, a veces funcionales pero nunca homologados, los convierte en objetos excepcionales dif\u00edciles de valorar, pero irresistibles para los coleccionistas exigentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfPiezas de la historia destinadas a revalorizarse?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El modelo M6 recientemente vendido, mantenido por Carrozzeria Zanasi en Maranello, ha sido completamente documentado por Ferrari, hasta las notas de las pruebas y los paneles desmontables utilizados durante el desarrollo.
