Las cifras de enero a agosto de 2025 confirman una tendencia preocupante: la marca del tridente sigue cayendo, a pesar de algunas excepciones aisladas en determinados mercados. A la espera del famoso plan de recuperaci\u00f3n anunciado para finales de 2024 pero que a\u00fan no se ha hecho p\u00fablico, Maserati est\u00e1 viviendo un periodo crucial que podr\u00eda recordarnos a los oscuros d\u00edas de principios de la d\u00e9cada de 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cifras que hablan por s\u00ed solas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En los ocho primeros meses de 2025, Maserati matricul\u00f3 5.537 coches en los 10 mercados principales, un 28 % menos que en 2024. En detalle, la tendencia es casi universal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Estados Unidos: 2.288 unidades (-34 %). El mayor mercado de Maserati, ya de por s\u00ed en dificultades, se ver\u00e1 probablemente a\u00fan m\u00e1s debilitado por los impuestos de 15 % anunciados por Donald Trump sobre los coches importados.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Italia: 1.302 unidades (22 menos en el 1er trimestre). El mercado nacional tambi\u00e9n descendi\u00f3, a pesar de que julio y agosto de 2025 fueron menos desastrosos de lo esperado.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jap\u00f3n: 512 unidades (37 menos en el 1T3), prueba de un desplome brutal en Asia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reino Unido: 217 unidades (-33 %), Suiza: 134 unidades (-46 %), Australia: 192 unidades (-31 %), Turqu\u00eda: 140 unidades (-25 %), Espa\u00f1a: 176 unidades (-20 %).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Francia: la excepci\u00f3n, con 73 unidades (+26 %)... pero en un volumen anecd\u00f3tico.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alemania: la \u00fanica sorpresa realmente buena con 503 unidades (+33 %). El repunte se debe a un mes de julio excepcional: 34 GranTurismos, 42 Grecale y... 27 Levante matriculados, prueba de que las existencias latentes de SUV segu\u00edan disponibles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo, estas disparidades no cambian la tendencia general: Maserati est\u00e1 perdiendo terreno en casi todos sus mercados clave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El peso de los errores del pasado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Si Maserati est\u00e1 donde est\u00e1 hoy, no es s\u00f3lo por una coyuntura econ\u00f3mica desfavorable. Sobre todo, la marca sigue pagando por los errores estrat\u00e9gicos del pasado. En su af\u00e1n por convertirse en una marca de volumen, Maserati dio un paso que quiz\u00e1 no le correspond\u00eda. Su apogeo, con m\u00e1s de 40.000 ventas en 2016 y luego m\u00e1s de 50.000 en 2017, est\u00e1 demostrando ser m\u00e1s un espejismo que un modelo a replicar. Para una marca de lujo, alcanzar esas cifras supon\u00eda alejarse de la exclusividad... y debilitar su imagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A este ritmo, Maserati podr\u00eda volver a niveles de 6.000 unidades anuales en 2026, comparables a los de 2012, antes de la gran racha de crecimiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A\u00fan se espera un plan de producto<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Oficialmente, Maserati deb\u00eda presentar un plan de producto \"estructurado y con garra\" antes del verano de 2025. Internamente, existe, pero no se ha compartido con todos los equipos. Como resultado, nuestros clientes, concesionarios y entusiastas siguen esperando anuncios concretos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mientras tanto, Maserati sigue fiel a lo que mejor sabe hacer: coches con un dise\u00f1o t\u00edpicamente italiano, probablemente entre los m\u00e1s bellos del mercado. Pero donde radica el problema es en la tecnolog\u00eda. Ferrari y Lamborghini ya est\u00e1n desarrollando h\u00edbridos enchufables de altas prestaciones. Maserati, en cambio, no ofrecer\u00e1 uno hasta 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En otras palabras, es probable que los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os sean especialmente largos. 2025 podr\u00eda marcar un nuevo m\u00ednimo, y 2026 promete ser igual de dif\u00edcil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 le depara el futuro a Maserati?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La cuesti\u00f3n es ahora existencial: \u00bfqu\u00e9 quiere ser Maserati ma\u00f1ana?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00bfUna marca de lujo como Porsche, capaz de vender m\u00e1s de 300.000 coches al a\u00f1o?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bfO una marca ultraexclusiva, como Ferrari y Lamborghini, que se conforman con 10.000 a 15.000 unidades pero con una rentabilidad extraordinaria?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>La incertidumbre persiste. Lo que es seguro es que en 2027, cuando por fin lleguen las nuevas generaciones de motores electrificados, Maserati tendr\u00e1 la oportunidad de recuperarse. De momento, la marca de M\u00f3dena est\u00e1 limitando los da\u00f1os y cerrando filas.
