El trabajo de preparaci\u00f3n fue llevado a cabo por Alfa Workshops, un reconocido especialista en Biscione en el Reino Unido, y esta preparaci\u00f3n se prob\u00f3 en el Mito en competici\u00f3n, antes de ofrecerse como conversi\u00f3n de 2 litros para los propietarios de Alfa Romeo 4C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un motor 1750 tbi radicalmente modificado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-400-ch-moteur.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41025\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-400-ch-moteur.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-400-ch-moteur-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-400-ch-moteur-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-400-ch-moteur-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Si el kit aerodin\u00e1mico radicaliza el peque\u00f1o Mito (podr\u00eda haber tenido este \"look\" en versi\u00f3n rally), es en el interior donde suceden las cosas. El motor 1750 tbi ha pasado de 1.742 cm\u00b3 a 1.995 cm\u00b3. Este aumento no se ha conseguido rectificando las camisas de los cilindros, sino aumentando la carrera del motor. Se han montado nuevos pistones y segmentos Omega mecanizados, as\u00ed como un cig\u00fce\u00f1al, cojinetes de empuje y bielas totalmente nuevos. La culata est\u00e1 alimentada por un sistema de circulaci\u00f3n de gases para aumentar el flujo, ya que el motor 4C original se dise\u00f1\u00f3 para crear un v\u00f3rtice en la c\u00e1mara de combusti\u00f3n con el fin de reducir las emisiones en lugar de maximizar el flujo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-400-ch-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41020\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-400-ch-1.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-400-ch-1-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-400-ch-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-400-ch-1-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>El otro cambio importante es la instalaci\u00f3n de un turbo biturbo fabricado por Borg Warner. Est\u00e1 conectado a un colector de escape tubular que, al estar situado muy cerca del mamparo, requiere una nueva protecci\u00f3n para reducir la absorci\u00f3n de calor. La v\u00e1lvula de control de la presi\u00f3n de sobrealimentaci\u00f3n es nueva, mientras que las mangueras de silicona conectan el turbo al intercooler. Est\u00e1 gestionado por una ECU Delta Motorsport SCS discretamente atornillada en la parte trasera del compartimento del motor. Descrito como \"Fase 2\", el SCS ha dedicado una enorme cantidad de tiempo y esfuerzo a su desarrollo, en particular mediante su integraci\u00f3n con los dem\u00e1s sistemas electr\u00f3nicos del coche a trav\u00e9s de la red inform\u00e1tica (CAN). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-mito-400-ch-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41021\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-mito-400-ch-3.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-mito-400-ch-3-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-mito-400-ch-3-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/alfa-romeo-mito-400-ch-3-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En funci\u00f3n del modo de conducci\u00f3n seleccionado, se configuran dos mapas de motor muy diferentes. Como resultado, se obtienen 410 CV y 600 Nm de par, una cifra enorme para un coche tan peque\u00f1o. Por \u00faltimo, la caja de cambios est\u00e1 tomada de un Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La potencia es \"d\u00e9bil\" por debajo de 2.500 rpm, pero en cuanto el turbo twin-scroll despierta, es una locura con una aceleraci\u00f3n monumental, como se puede ver en los v\u00eddeos de Jack Berry. Para que conste, en un 4C est\u00e1ndar, se alcanzan de 110 a 160 km\/h en 6,8 segundos. Con este motor de 2 litros, s\u00f3lo tarda 3,8 segundos.
