Dependiendo de tu punto de vista, un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/ferrari\/\">Ferrari<\/a> con un motor Honda se considera brillante o sacr\u00edlego.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El Ferrari 308: la primera berlina V8<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tanto si tard\u00f3 m\u00e1s de dos a\u00f1os en construirse como si el producto final es magn\u00edfico, este 308 ampliamente modificado fue construido por Mike Burroughs de StanceWorks, un tuneador establecido en el campo, para competir en el World Time Attack Challenge Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-308-jaune.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40823\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-308-jaune.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-308-jaune-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-308-jaune-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-308-jaune-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mike se fij\u00f3 en un Ferrari 308 GTBi amarillo de 1981, que consideraba \"poco potente, demasiado pesado y demasiado caro\", y se propuso hacerlo m\u00e1s ligero y m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido. El objetivo era construir un Ferrari Time Attack. Estos eventos, originarios de Jap\u00f3n, son competiciones de vueltas r\u00e1pidas, o \"hotlaps\", como se conocen en la jerga de los juegos de carreras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pas\u00f3 lo que ten\u00eda que pasar: adi\u00f3s al V8 de 2,9 litros de Maranello y paso al \"swap\", \u00a1el famoso cambio de motor!  Utilizando un motor Honda K24 turboalimentado, Mike construy\u00f3 muchas de las piezas del Ferrari, incluidos los conductos de aceite para el c\u00e1rter seco y los sistemas de refrigeraci\u00f3n. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bf8 o 4 cilindros?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de la suspensi\u00f3n, la carrocer\u00eda y el chasis hechos a medida, el coraz\u00f3n del coche es ahora un motor Honda K24 de 2,4 litros. Es cierto que pasamos de 8 a 4 cilindros, pero ganamos en potencia y, sobre todo, en peso.  El sobrealimentador procede de un turbo Garrett G42-1000 y funciona bajo el control de un sistema Haltech Nexus R5, con retroalimentaci\u00f3n en un cuadro de mandos. Se utiliza una caja de cambios secuencial de competici\u00f3n Quaife de 5 velocidades. Por \u00faltimo, el coche est\u00e1 frenado por frenos AP Racing Pro 5000R.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-244-gtk-moteur.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40826\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-244-gtk-moteur.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-244-gtk-moteur-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-244-gtk-moteur-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-244-gtk-moteur-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>El V8 original de 2,9 litros y 90\u00b0, el F106AB, produc\u00eda 255 CV a 7.700 rpm con sus cuatro carburadores Weber de doble barrilete, pero cuando Ferrari sustituy\u00f3 los carburadores Weber por la inyecci\u00f3n de combustible con el GTBi en 1980, para cumplir las normas anticontaminaci\u00f3n de EE.UU., la potencia cay\u00f3 a s\u00f3lo 214 CV. A primera vista, \u00bftiene sentido sustituir el V8 por un motor Honda K24 de 2,4 litros de un Acura TSX, con 205 CV? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-244-gtk-moteur-0.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40833\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-244-gtk-moteur-0.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-244-gtk-moteur-0-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-244-gtk-moteur-0-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/ferrari-244-gtk-moteur-0-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Excepto que convertir el motor japon\u00e9s es mucho m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil, mientras que el coste de desarrollar el motor italiano original es absolutamente absurdo. Tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 la cuesti\u00f3n del peso: eliminar cuatro cilindros significa obviamente un veh\u00edculo m\u00e1s ligero. Y no hay que olvidar la fiabilidad, la accesibilidad de los accesorios y, por supuesto, el precio. Los productos forjados y los componentes del turbo cuestan dinero, claro, pero cuando el precio de partida de tu motor es de s\u00f3lo 700 $, te sobra algo de dinero con el que jugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a1Potencia multiplicada por 4,5!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En el modo de baja sobrealimentaci\u00f3n, el motor alcanza los 640 CV en las ruedas traseras, pero hay planes para aumentarlo hasta los 1.000 CV. Sin embargo, el chasis tiene dificultades para soportar semejante potencia. El 308 recuerda a los monstruos carrozados de la clase IMSA GTO de finales de los 80, como el Audi 90 Quattro, con sus aletas ensanchadas, su amplia toma de aire frontal, sus faldones laterales y su imponente aler\u00f3n trasero. El coche, oficialmente llamado Ferrari 244 GTK, se inscribi\u00f3 en la clase Open Turbocharged del World Time Attack Challenge 2023 y termin\u00f3 muy lejos de la cabeza. A su regreso a EE.UU., Burroughs llev\u00f3 el Ferrari a la final del Global Time Attack en Buttonwillow Raceway Park, California. Aunque el shakedown transcurri\u00f3 sin problemas, el primer d\u00eda de competici\u00f3n acab\u00f3 mal. Durante una vuelta, el motor decidi\u00f3 dejar caer una biela a trav\u00e9s del c\u00e1rter de aceite de aluminio, destruyendo otras piezas caras en el proceso. Ha participado en pruebas de Time Attack en EE.UU., incluida la Gridlife.
