La estructura del coche ha sido modificada, con refuerzos y una gran abertura en el cap\u00f3 que deja salir el gran sobrealimentador. Autodelta hab\u00eda desarrollado dos modelos de competici\u00f3n, pero nunca se construyeron. Adem\u00e1s, el importador alem\u00e1n del Biscione consider\u00f3 que el mercado era prometedor y encarg\u00f3 a Delta AutoTechnik el desarrollo de GTV de ocho cilindros. El resultado en 1977 fue el GTV8 2.6i, que utilizaba el mismo bloque que el Montreal. Pero Delta AutoTechnik quebr\u00f3 y s\u00f3lo se construyeron 2-3 ejemplares, en lugar de los cientos previstos.
