Gracias a su carrocer\u00eda de composite y su bastidor de acero, el coche pesaba s\u00f3lo 1.050 kg y alcanzaba una velocidad m\u00e1xima de 205 km\/h. Se hab\u00eda dise\u00f1ado para probar nuevas tecnolog\u00edas, como el intercambiador aire-l\u00edquido. El B24 estaba propulsado por un motor turbodi\u00e9sel VM Motori I4 de 2,4 litros que desarrollaba 130 CV a 4.300 rpm. El B24 se fabric\u00f3 en cantidades limitadas para el mercado estadounidense, con unos nueve ejemplares (incluidos algunos modelos BT424 equipados con motores de gasolina Lancia Gamma). Estaba equipado con pinzas Brembo de 4 pistones y discos de 305 mm en el eje delantero. El C36 est\u00e1 propulsado por un motor VM 3.8 turbodi\u00e9sel de 6 cilindros en l\u00ednea con inyecci\u00f3n de combustible, instalado en posici\u00f3n central.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/covini-c36-diesel.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-39766\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/covini-c36-diesel.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/covini-c36-diesel-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/covini-c36-diesel-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/covini-c36-diesel-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Turbotronic hac\u00eda referencia a la tecnolog\u00eda presentada por VM Motori en Mil\u00e1n en 1990. Adem\u00e1s de la sobrealimentaci\u00f3n, su sistema utilizaba la electr\u00f3nica para controlar la combusti\u00f3n. Se utiliz\u00f3 en muchos de los motores di\u00e9sel del Grupo FIAT. El motor produc\u00eda 313 CV a 4.200 rpm, con un empuje m\u00e1ximo de 500 Nm a 2.100 rpm. El coup\u00e9 fue el primer coche di\u00e9sel en superar la barrera de los 300 km\/h.
