Fue un costoso error t\u00e9cnico que empa\u00f1\u00f3 definitivamente la imagen de este motor, muy utilizado en los modelos Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, Opel, Jeep y DS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Una reputaci\u00f3n que reconstruir<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Desde 2023, Stellantis ha intentado pasar p\u00e1gina con la introducci\u00f3n de la tercera generaci\u00f3n del 1.2L, el PureTech EB2 Gen3, <\/strong>incorporando por fin una transmisi\u00f3n por cadena mucho m\u00e1s fiable, corrigiendo las deficiencias de las generaciones anteriores. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/guias\/motor-stellantis-1-2-puretech-lista-de-modelos-accionados-por-correa-y-cadena\/\">Este motor se encuentra ahora en una amplia gama de veh\u00edculos<\/a>incluyendo modelos h\u00edbridos como el Fiat 600, el Lancia Ypsilon, el<strong>Alfa Romeo Junior<\/strong>Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, Opel y Jeep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo, a pesar de estas mejoras, la imagen del PureTech segu\u00eda siendo demasiado negativa para mantenerse. Tras varios meses de silencio, <strong>En mayo de 2025, un nuevo nombre apareci\u00f3 silenciosamente en el cat\u00e1logo de Fiat: T-Gen 3. <\/strong>A partir de ahora, los motores h\u00edbridos de la marca italiana se conocer\u00e1n como \"T-Gen 3 1.2 Hybrid Turbo\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"542\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/fiat-tgen3-1200x542.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-38611\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/fiat-tgen3-scaled.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/fiat-tgen3-420x190.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/fiat-tgen3-768x347.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/fiat-tgen3-18x8.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Este nombre no es s\u00f3lo una estratagema de marketing. <strong>Refleja una estrategia de renovaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica en torno al motor EB2 de 3\u00aa generaci\u00f3n,<\/strong> al tiempo que aprovecha un nombre m\u00e1s neutro, incluso potenciador: \"T\" de \"Turbo\", \"Gen3\" para significar claramente la nueva generaci\u00f3n. Una forma inteligente de recuperar el control sobre la historia de este motor y disociarlo de las generaciones anteriores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por el momento, esta nueva denominaci\u00f3n s\u00f3lo aparece en los comunicados oficiales de Fiat. En cuanto a <strong>Lancia<\/strong>En Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, Opel y Jeep, se sigue utilizando el t\u00e9rmino 'H\u00edbrido', simplemente '1.2 H\u00edbrido Turbo'. Ya propulsa una amplia gama de modelos de combusti\u00f3n interna e h\u00edbridos ligeros, incluidos los veh\u00edculos eDCT de doble embrague.
