Foto Italpassion<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>En 2016, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/abarth\/\">Abarth<\/a> sacudi\u00f3 el mundo del autom\u00f3vil al desvelar un nuevo modelo: el Abarth 124 Spider,<\/strong> una versi\u00f3n \"deportiva\" del Fiat 124 Spider, que se hab\u00eda lanzado un a\u00f1o antes. Este modelo se dise\u00f1\u00f3 sobre la plataforma del Mazda MX-5, pero con el toque distintivo de Abarth: un motor Fiat 1.4L de 170 CV, acompa\u00f1ado de un sistema de escape Recond Monza con 4 salidas. El resultado fue un coche con una actitud muy juguetona y un sonido que recuerda a las grandes creaciones de Abarth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por desgracia, a pesar de sus caracter\u00edsticas, el modelo no tuvo el \u00e9xito esperado. Tal vez con un precio demasiado elevado de 40.000 \u20ac en aquel momento, o tal vez un mercado mal orientado, la producci\u00f3n del 124 Spider Abarth finaliz\u00f3 en 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sin embargo, antes de este prematuro final, Abarth ya hab\u00eda preparado una versi\u00f3n m\u00e1s extrema dedicada a la competici\u00f3n automovil\u00edstica: el Abarth 124 GT4.<\/strong> Este modelo iba a marcar la entrada de la marca en la competici\u00f3n profesional, especialmente en el Campeonato Italiano de GT4 y en las GT4 European Series. El a\u00f1o 2018 vio la aparici\u00f3n de un prototipo de este coche, observado durante unas pruebas en circuito. Este coche luc\u00eda un impresionante kit aerodin\u00e1mico de carrocer\u00eda, con un gran difusor y un gran aler\u00f3n trasero. Todo ello dejaba entrever el potencial de rendimiento del coche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"NUEVA MULA DEL Abarth 124 GT4 DE PRUEBAS EN EL CIRCUITO DE MONZA - Motor Alfa 4C de 380 CV\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/Gc_EiCPMJCk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Los v\u00eddeos y testimonios que circulan por el prototipo revelan que <strong>el Abarth 124 GT4 podr\u00eda haber cambiado su motor Fiat de 1.4L por uno de 1.75L, prestado del Alfa Romeo 4C de la \u00e9poca.<\/strong> Este motor habr\u00eda permitido al Abarth 124 GT4 desarrollar una potencia impresionante, muy superior a la del modelo de producci\u00f3n, ya que los rumores apuntan a una potencia de unos 380 CV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por desgracia, a pesar de los prometedores avances, el proyecto nunca vio la luz. Foto Italpassion<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Recientemente, durante mi visita al Stellantis Heritage Hub, tras <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/es\/alfa-romeo\/alfa-romeo-4c-quadrifoglio-hemos-visto-este-modelo-muy-raro-y-nunca-comercializado\/\">el Alfa Romeo 4C Quadrifoglio<\/a>Tuve la oportunidad de ver en detalle este Abarth 124 GT4. El prototipo segu\u00eda oculto bajo camuflaje, con un gran difusor y un gran aler\u00f3n trasero, <strong>una salida de escape justo detr\u00e1s de la rueda delantera en el lado del conductor,<\/strong> y un interior dedicado a la competici\u00f3n: un asiento Sabelt, una barra antivuelco y ventanillas laterales de plexigl\u00e1s.
