Desde 2023, con la introducci\u00f3n de la tercera generaci\u00f3n de este motor, se ha introducido un cambio importante: la distribuci\u00f3n por cadena ha sustituido a la tradicional correa. Este cambio t\u00e9cnico est\u00e1 pensado para mejorar la eficiencia y la fiabilidad del motor PureTech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Problemas con la correa sumergida en aceite<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Las primeras versiones del motor 1.2 PureTech de Stellantis (gen 1 y gen 2) utilizaban una correa dentada sumergida en el aceite del motor. Aunque esta configuraci\u00f3n pudo parecer innovadora en su momento, pronto revel\u00f3 algunas deficiencias importantes. La correa tend\u00eda a deteriorarse m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido de lo esperado, liberando part\u00edculas que pod\u00edan obstruir el sistema de lubricaci\u00f3n del motor. Estas obstrucciones pod\u00edan provocar p\u00e9rdidas de potencia, fallos de funcionamiento y, en los casos m\u00e1s graves, aver\u00edas costosas de reparar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ante estos problemas, Stellantis tuvo que intervenir, con campa\u00f1as de llamada a revisi\u00f3n que afectaron a casi 500.000 veh\u00edculos, principalmente modelos Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, DS, Opel y Jeep. La cadena se adapta mejor a las condiciones de conducci\u00f3n modernas, sobre todo en trayectos urbanos cortos, en los que los motores se esfuerzan especialmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El objetivo de este desarrollo t\u00e9cnico es reducir la necesidad de intervenci\u00f3n en el taller, aumentar la longevidad del motor y simplificar el mantenimiento. Adem\u00e1s, los motores accionados por cadena no necesitan sustituirse con tanta frecuencia como los accionados por correa, lo que ofrece una mayor fiabilidad a largo plazo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Los modelos afectados por este cambio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Varios modelos del Grupo Stellantis ya incorporan esta nueva versi\u00f3n del motor 1.2 PureTech de cadena, que est\u00e1 disponible en versiones h\u00edbridas y no h\u00edbridas, con transmisi\u00f3n manual y autom\u00e1tica eDCT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He aqu\u00ed una lista de los modelos afectados por este cambio, mejora la fiabilidad del motor y reduce los costes de reparaci\u00f3n y mantenimiento para los propietarios. Cabe se\u00f1alar que, en Europa, todos los nuevos modelos Stellantis con motor de combusti\u00f3n utilizan el 1.2L de 3\u00aa generaci\u00f3n, aunque el nombre Puretech haya desaparecido de todas las comunicaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el lado italiano, un Fiat Grande Panda, un Alfa Romeo Junior o un Lancia Ypsilon tienen este motor 1.2L de 3\u00aa generaci\u00f3n. Aunque ya no se llama Puretech, es un motor que tendr\u00e1 una larga carrera por delante, ya que muchos coches nuevos en Europa lo utilizar\u00e1n.
