The Venuum V4X just keeps revealing more and more. A few days after unveiling for the first time its spectacular reinterpretation of the Ferrari F40<\/a> The Dubai-based tuner is on the move again, releasing a new video. This time, the car hits the road once more, giving us a chance to hear its V8 roar. But one detail catches our eye: while Venuum emphasizes its independence from Ferrari, the famous yellow badges still appear to be on the car\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The V4X Finally Lets Its V8 Roar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A few days ago, we discovered The first V4X is complete<\/a>, after months of 3D renderings and photos taken in Venuum\u2019s workshops. Originally named V40, the project has since been renamed, though the tuner hasn\u2019t really explained why (probably because it was too similar to F40).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new clip takes things a step further. The red V4X is filmed moving at a brisk pace on winding roads, with several exterior shots and even a drone flying alongside it. Most importantly, Venuum is now letting the mechanics do the talking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And beneath this F40-inspired bodywork lies a particularly robust foundation: a Ferrari SF90<\/a>. Venuum therefore retains its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8\u2014paired with three electric motors\u2014as its starting point, with a reported power output of around 1,100 HP for the V4X. The images also offer a new perspective on the massive rear wing, the four circular taillights, the perforated engine hood, and the three central exhaust tips. The connection to the F40 is evident, even though Venuum now intends to make the V4X a creation with its own distinct identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Venuum is distancing itself from Ferrari\u2026 but keeping its logos?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s exactly where this new video gets intriguing. The tuner reiterates that this is an independent Venuum project, based on a donor SF90, with no affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement from any automaker. However, upon closer inspection of the car, something quite surprising becomes apparent. While the Venuum logos are clearly mounted on the rear, the Ferrari emblem still appears to be present on the hood. Even more surprising, the traditional yellow Scudetto also appears on the front fenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a puzzling choice, as Ferrari jealously guards its image, brand, and emblems\u2014especially when a car is radically modified and marketed by an independent tuning firm. Venuum is careful to publicly state that its project has not been approved by the Maranello-based manufacturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So why keep the Ferrari badges? Perhaps they\u2019re only on this prototype, or just for this video shoot, and will be removed from the cars delivered to customers. This would likely be to avoid legal issues with Ferrari. Given how closely Ferrari monitors the use of its brand identity, this may be the riskiest detail of this new V4X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
