A few weeks ago, we introduced you to the very first Apollo Evo built for a customer<\/a>, the spectacular \u00abCaribbean Dragon.\u00bb But production of the ten planned units is continuing, and a new car is now beginning to take shape in the German workshops of\u2019Apollo<\/a>. This time, its owner is far from unknown: it is Steve Hamilton, founder of The Hamilton Collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The American collector, who has more than two million subscribers on YouTube, had actually been planning this purchase for several months. In early May 2026, he posted a video filmed at the Apollo facility in Germany with one goal in mind: to try to secure one of the ten Evo allocations. And not just any one\u2014he thought he was going to snag the last one available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A surprise was already waiting for her at Apollo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The tour takes a different turn when an Apollo employee shows Steve Hamilton a carbon-fiber monocoque. \u00abCould this be my monocoque?\u00bb he asks. The answer: maybe\u2026 before the team tells him that it\u2019s number 2 and that it\u2019s official: The Hamilton Collection will indeed have its own Apollo Evo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even more surprising, Steve Hamilton explained that he didn\u2019t know Apollo had already begun assembling the chassis even before he arrived at the factory. Today, several months after that visit, Apollo has just released a new image of the car under construction. It shows a monocoque almost entirely clad in spectacular purple carbon fiber, confirming that the project is now well underway. This Apollo Evo is expected to cost around $4 million\u2014or approximately 3.5 million euros\u2014the amount Hamilton himself mentioned when he announced his purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purple Carbon for a \u00abGalaxy Dragon\u00bb<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

However, the design had not yet been finalized at the time of the visit. Apollo had prepared several proposals inspired by the world of *Avatar*, including elements that glow in the dark, blue carbon, and Diamond Dust finishes. The idea of incorporating a meteorite\u2014possibly into a unique Apollo badge\u2014was even discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few days later, the design had already evolved. Steve Hamilton explained that he wanted to move slightly away from the Avatar theme to envision a \u00abGalaxy Dragon\u00bb: purple carbon fiber gradually transitioning to blue, accompanied by luminous accents following certain lines of the bodywork. At the time, he estimated the final design would cost around 60 %. The new photo released by Apollo shows that the purple has indeed survived the various design iterations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beneath this otherworldly bodywork lies what makes the Apollo Evo particularly interesting to us: its 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, originally from Ferrari and derived from the F140 family. It produces approximately 800 ch and is paired with a sequential transmission. Italian engineering at the heart of a German hypercar, of which only ten units are set to be produced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In May, Apollo mentioned a delivery date in the third or fourth quarter of 2026, with October as the target. Judging by this new image, the future \u00abGalaxy Dragon\u00bb now appears to be entering the home stretch.
