The trilogy is about to be complete. Following the spectacular Huayra 70 Trionfo<\/a> and Law<\/a>, a third and final Pagani<\/a> Created to celebrate Horacio Pagani\u2019s 70th birthday, it was recently spotted in Italy. Though not yet officially unveiled by the San Cesario sul Panaro-based manufacturer, it bears an evocative name: Huayra 70 Anima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first images show the hypercar on public roads, not far from Modena and Bologna. With no camouflage and no attempt to hide its lines, this Anima now appears ready to be unveiled\u2014and will likely be delivered to its owner soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third and final Huayra 70<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This Anima serves primarily to bring a story that began earlier this year to a close. To celebrate its founder\u2019s 70th birthday, Pagani created just three Huayra 70s, all developed by the department Grand Complications<\/em> and profoundly different from a Huayra<\/a> classic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first, the Trionfo, made a particularly strong impression with its green-tinted carbon fiber and orange accents. A few months later, the Derecho took customization even further with its spectacular combination of Pearl Orange and Blue. Now, here is the Anima, the third and final model in this extremely exclusive series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And as is often the case with Pagani, it\u2019s impossible to confuse it with the two previous models. Its bodywork appears to feature a particularly deep metallic finish, shifting between blue and purple depending on the light. Unlike the Derecho and its many contrasts, the Anima seems to favor a much more uniform, almost monochromatic exterior design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Pagani that's hard to miss<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Viewed from the rear, the car that was just spotted on Italian roads certainly doesn\u2019t go unnoticed. Its massive rear wing spans the entire width of the car, while the mechanical components remain largely exposed. In the center, the Huayra\u2019s signature four exhaust tips dominate a particularly spectacular rear end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also features specific to the Huayra 70, including a unique engine air intake, redesigned side skirts and a diffuser, as well as the Huayra 70 Titanium wheels. The front end, however, remains a mystery in the available images, as does the interior. These two elements are likely to hold a few surprises when the car is officially unveiled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Pagani has not yet officially unveiled the Anima, its powertrain is expected to be based on that of the Derecho and the Trionfo. Behind the occupants would be the Mercedes-AMG 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12, producing 864 ch and 1,100 Nm of torque. Most importantly, the Huayra 70 retains one of its most extraordinary features: a seven-speed manual transmission, which sends all that power to the rear wheels via an electromechanical limited-slip differential. This configuration has become extremely rare at this power level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the Trionfo and the Derecho, the Anima is expected to be the final chapter in this anniversary series. And since the car is now being driven openly around Pagani\u2019s headquarters, its official unveiling is likely just around the corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
