A few days ago, We found the spectacular Totem GT Super \u00abEuforia\u00bb in the United States\u00bb<\/a>, which had traveled from Italy to California for Monterey Car Week. But it clearly hadn\u2019t crossed the Atlantic alone. At Pebble Beach, Totem Automobili took advantage of The Quail to unveil another GT Super built for a client: \u00abLitorale Brado,\u00bb the 32nd example of this modern reinterpretation of the 1960s Alfa Romeo Giulia GT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And after the warm, golden tones of \u2019Euforia,\u00ab there\u2019s a radical shift in atmosphere. This new design features a much darker, almost elusive aesthetic, while retaining the elegance that characterizes the Italian model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A GT Super designed \u00abfar beyond the catalog\u00bb<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As is often the case with Totem Automobili<\/a>, it all starts with the owner\u2019s vision. \u00abLitorale Brado\u00bb is part of the manufacturer\u2019s Individual program, and the specifications were particularly clear: to design a GT Super with a stealthy look, without sacrificing the elegance of its silhouette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The carbon-fiber body is finished with a three-layer paint job called \u00abBig Sur Green.\u00bb This deep green is particularly fitting for its debut in California, as it reveals different shades depending on the light and highlights the curves directly inspired by the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Totem pairs it with numerous satin gunmetal-colored elements, both on the exterior and inside the cabin. For the first time, the GT Super also features exclusive two-tone wheels. Carbon fiber is also ubiquitous, with a satin finish complemented by \u00abTotem Classic Design\u00bb weaving applied to all vertical carbon fiber surfaces. A few touches, however, break up this understated look. Notably, the Italian flag has been hand-painted on the side skirts and the engine plenum. It\u2019s a tiny detail relative to the car\u2019s size, but one that immediately evokes its origins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brown leather, carbon fiber, and custom details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The interior continues this blend of tradition and modernity. The seats combine brown leather and light-colored fabric, while carbon fiber contrasts with a variety of metal controls. The steering wheel also combines leather, carbon fiber, and metal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The spectacular six-speed manual transmission shifter still takes center stage. Around it, the Totem maintains this deliberately mechanical feel, with physical controls and instrumentation that evoke a classic car without trying to copy it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This philosophy is evident throughout the GT Super: the goal is not to restore a 1960s Alfa Romeo, but to imagine what this type of Italian coupe might have become with modern technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still a 640 ch V6 under the hood<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Beneath its modernized Giulia GT exterior, the \u00abLitorale Brado\u00bb hides a much more serious powertrain. The GT Super is powered by the \u00abGloria\u00bb engine, a 2.8-liter twin-turbo V6 developed by Italtecnica<\/a>. It produces 640 ch and 655 Nm of torque, which is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With its carbon-fiber monocoque and a weight of approximately 1,180 kg, the Totem GT Super claims a 0 to 100 km\/h time of 3.2 seconds. Supercar performance hidden beneath a silhouette born more than sixty years ago. Following \u00abEuforia,\u00bb Monterey Car Week has thus unveiled a second incarnation of the GT Super. And with only 40 units planned\u2014each of which can be extensively customized\u2014\u00abLitorale Brado\u00bb confirms above all that it will be rare to come across two Totems that are exactly alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
