Just a few days after breaking the 1,000 hp mark, the new six-cylinder engine from Stellantis<\/a> goes even further. At Roadkill Nights 2026, a Dodge Charger SIXPACK tuned by the duo Brian Shull and Jonathan Rimbo reached 1,064 HP. This new record confirms, above all, the impressive potential of the new 3.0-liter Hurricane 6-cylinder engine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, we already told you about John O\u2019Malley\u2019s Dodge Charger<\/a>. With a claimed power output of around 1,000 hp, this car had managed, above all, to win the race held on Woodward Avenue. But there was one important detail: the car that won the race wasn\u2019t the most powerful one on the grid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, it was the build by Brian Shull and Jonathan Rimbo\u2014known on social media as UltraSRT and Applied Torque Solutions\u2014that set the new dyno record: 1,064 HP, compared to approximately 1,000 HP for Boosted Motorsports. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behind them, the other cars in the race gave a sense of the level of performance achieved at the event: Heavy D Sparks put out 900 HP, while Rob Dahm and Titan Motorsports were reported to have 800 HP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This result is all the more spectacular when you consider where this engine comes from. The Hurricane is a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six. In the new production Dodge Charger SIXPACK Scat Pack, its High Output version produces 550 ch. Dodge has also just unveiled A 600 HP upgrade for the Charger Super Bee<\/a>. But the potential is much greater! Tuners are now able to achieve nearly double the original power output.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A power record, but not the win<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On the track, however, this display of power wasn't enough. Brian Shull and Jonathan Rimbo's Charger faced off against the one from Titan Motorsports and lost by just 0.003 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
