For eight years, Ben Collins, better known as \u00abThe Stig\u00bb in Top Gear<\/em>, pushed some of the fastest cars on the planet to their limits. Among them were many Lamborghini<\/a>, which he has watched evolve over the generations. Looking back, his verdict is clear: the Sant\u2019Agata Bolognese-based automaker has made tremendous progress, to the point that some of its recent models are among his favorites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lamborghini has struck the right balance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For Ben Collins, this evolution is particularly evident in the family Aventador<\/a>. He explains that each version has contributed to the overall design. The Aventador SV has become lighter, more powerful, and offers greater downforce, while the Aventador S introduced four-wheel steering, a technology that, in his view, completely transforms the car\u2019s handling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his view, the Aventador S even represents the best compromise in the lineup. \u00abI think the Aventador S strikes the right balance,\u00bb he explains, noting that the four-wheel steering truly transforms the driving experience. On the other hand, he\u2019s far less convinced by the Aventador SVJ. While he acknowledges its performance, he finds its styling a bit excessive. With its very flashy aerodynamics and numerous appendages, he feels Lamborghini has gone too far visually. In his view, the SV remains more elegant, while the S is simply the best to drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
