That took some nerve. While Lamborghini<\/a> has turned the page on the Hurac\u00e1n Sterrato<\/a> (but A Temerario Sterrato is reportedly in the works<\/a>), the American tuning company Rezvani has decided to take the concept much further. With the new Dune<\/em>, the California-based company transforms the Italian supercar into a machine that looks like it came straight out of Mad Max<\/em>, capable of leaving the pavement behind to tackle dunes, rocky trails, or mud, all while retaining the V10\u2019s distinctive sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result is spectacular. It\u2019s impossible to mistake this creation for a classic Hurac\u00e1n\u2014the bodywork has been so completely transformed. Made entirely of carbon fiber, it features oversized fenders, significantly increased ground clearance, reinforced bumpers, additional LED headlights, and massive off-road tires. The overall look is more reminiscent of a Baja 1000 race car than an Italian supercar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Radically Transformed Hurac\u00e1n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yet beneath this radical exterior lies a Lamborghini Hurac\u00e1n. The interior, in fact, retains the layout of the Italian sports car, even though the Lamborghini logos have been replaced with Rezvani logos and the seats have been custom-designed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the transformation isn\u2019t limited to style. In collaboration with VF Engineering, a renowned specialist in Lamborghini tuning, Rezvani has developed a new suspension system that raises the vehicle by 4.5 inches. With the 31-inch all-terrain tires, the ground clearance increases by a total of approximately 15 cm compared to a stock Hurac\u00e1n, reaching 28 cm. The chassis has also been redesigned to accommodate this new geometry and the stresses of off-road use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

V10 engine boosted to 800 chevaux<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The powertrain remains true to one of the finest engines in recent production. The naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 is now equipped with a supercharger, once again developed in collaboration with VF Engineering. Power thus climbs to 800 chevaux, with a reported torque of approximately 1,065 Nm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This power is transmitted to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive. Rezvani also adds a terrain management system offering different modes tailored for sand, snow, mud, rocky terrain, and even Baja-style driving\u2014proof that the Dune is more than just an adventure-ready-looking vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ultra-exclusive<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Founded by Ferris Rezvani with the ambition of creating cars that deliver sensations similar to those of a fighter jet, the American brand has made a name for itself thanks to its military-inspired designs, such as the Tank and the Vengeance. With the Dune, it applies its philosophy to an Italian supercar, creating what is arguably its most astonishing project yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Production will be limited to seven units worldwide. Reservations are already open with a refundable deposit of $1,500, though the final price has not yet been announced. Given Rezvani\u2019s previous models, however, it is expected to far exceed six figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
