There are some Ferraris that turn heads even before they\u2019re delivered. That\u2019s exactly the case with this Ferrari F80<\/a> Spotted in Maranello by Ilias Abawi, a photographer well-known on social media for capturing the most exclusive prototypes and models as they enter and leave the Ferrari factory. This time, his lens captured a particularly spectacular example of the new Italian hypercar. With only 799 units produced, the Ferrari F80 is already one of the most exclusive models ever released by the brand. But this configuration seems to take it even further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A livery directly inspired by the Ferrari 499P<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At first glance, it\u2019s impossible not to draw a comparison with the Ferrari 499P competing in the World Endurance Championship (WEC). The Rosso Corsa bodywork is accented by the famous yellow stripes that run from the roof to the rear fenders, while the number 51 is proudly displayed on the hood and doors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This nod is far from insignificant. The number 51 belongs to the 499P that won the Centennial edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023, driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi. Even more impressive, Ferrari went so far as to reproduce the WEC logo on the car\u2019s sides, just like on the race car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The details don\u2019t stop there. The front shield also features the Italian flag, and several bodywork elements are accented in yellow, faithfully reflecting the design language of the endurance hypercar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Touch of the Ferrari 296 Speciale Piloti<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This F80 is also reminiscent of another very recent creation from Maranello: the Ferrari 296 Speciale Piloti<\/a>. Billed as a tribute to the successes of the 499P, this highly exclusive edition is reserved for drivers participating in Ferrari\u2019s official racing programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It, too, features the 499P-inspired design, complete with the number 51, Giallo Modena accents, and WEC logos. Seeing this visual identity applied to an F80 today suggests that Ferrari wants to strengthen the connection between its road-going hypercar and its endurance racing program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A very special order?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One question remains: Is this a Tailor Made order placed by a particularly privileged customer, or a configuration designed directly by Ferrari for a collector with close ties to the brand? At this point, there is no evidence to confirm either possibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
