Five years after the unveiling of the first EVO37<\/a> at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2021, Kimera Automobili<\/a> is officially turning a new page in its history. The Italian automaker has just delivered the final car in its limited series of 37 vehicles. Named Artemide, this EVO37\u2014bearing the number 37\/37\u2014marks the end of a program that gave birth to the brand and brought one of the greatest rally icons of the 1980s back into the spotlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EVO37, the car that launched Kimera<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before the recent EVO38<\/a> and K39<\/a>, it all began with the EVO37. Unveiled in 2021, this spectacular modern reinterpretation of the Lancia 037 pays homage to the last two-wheel-drive Group B car to be crowned World Rally Champion, before all-wheel drive became the standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But Kimera didn\u2019t want to simply build a replica. True to its \u00abrestomod\u00bb philosophy, the Italian manufacturer preserved the 037\u2019s visual and emotional DNA while incorporating contemporary technologies. The result is a supercar weighing just 1,000 kg, powered by a 2.15-liter four-cylinder engine producing 505 ch and 550 Nm, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. That\u2019s enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km\/h in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 300 km\/h. Production was limited from the outset to 37 units, all hand-built in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artemide, the Ultimate EVO37<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The final model, unveiled in recent days, is named Artemide. In Greek mythology, Artemis\u2014known as Diana to the Romans\u2014is the daughter of Zeus and the twin sister of Apollo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This final car features an elegant black paint scheme paired with bronze-colored wheels\u2014a contrast that particularly highlights its Lancia 037-inspired lines. Kimera has also engraved the number 37\/37 on various parts of the vehicle, underscoring the uniqueness of this final model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One chapter ends, another begins<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This delivery comes at a symbolic moment for Kimera. At the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed, five years after the EVO37\u2019s debut, the brand returned to the site of its first public appearance to unveil the first dynamic prototype of the K39, its very first entirely original creation, powered by a twin-turbo V8 supplied by Koenigsegg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, the EVO38 also made its dynamic debut in its Martini Collection version. For Kimera, this return to Goodwood symbolizes both a celebration of its past and the beginning of a new chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story of the EVO37, however, is not quite over yet. While all 37 planned units have now been allocated, Kimera has already confirmed that a few highly exclusive series, such as the Martini 7, one-off models, as well as a new interpretation of the EVO37 scheduled for later this year, will keep the model alive\u2014the very model that allowed this young Italian brand to make a name for itself in the world of handcrafted supercars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
