When we talk about a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ<\/a>, one generally imagines a classic supercar carefully preserved in an air-conditioned garage, with just a few thousand kilometers on the odometer. However, a model sold recently in the United States tells a completely different story. This black Lamborghini Aventador SVJ had 87,754 miles on the odometer\u2014nearly 141,226 kilometers. This is simply an exceptional figure for this model, which is equipped with the famous 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine. So much so that it could very well be one of the Aventador SVJs with the highest mileage in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Aventador SVJ that's really been through a lot<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With that kind of mileage, this Lamborghini has become a one-of-a-kind find on the market. According to several American experts, it is currently the Lamborghini with the highest mileage for sale in the United States. This distinction obviously affects its value. It reportedly sold on the TrueCar platform for approximately $500,000 (about 435,000 euros), which is at least $500,000 less than other Aventador SVJs available on the U.S. market. For a car of which only 900 coupes were produced, this represents a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most sought-after models of Lamborghini<\/a> without paying the usual prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A past that was far from perfect<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

But the mileage isn\u2019t the only reason for this price. Before arriving at a dealership in Florida, this Aventador SVJ had already been the talk of social media. Photos taken at an auction showed a car in surprisingly poor condition for a supercar of this value. The front bumper was held in place with tape, several deep scratches were visible on the body, and the headlights showed significant signs of wear. Even the roof had paint defects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interior wasn\u2019t any more appealing. The seats and steering wheel were stained, some trim pieces were peeling, and the cabin seemed to bear the marks of heavy use rather than those of a collector\u2019s item. Its former owner clearly did not view his Aventador SVJ as a museum piece. According to several accounts found on social media, he regularly participated in road rallies like the Gumball 3000, covering immense distances across the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
