In Monaco, Fernando Alonso<\/a> seems to have turned his automotive appearances into a veritable soap opera for enthusiasts. Having recently been spotted at the wheel of several exceptional Ferraris such as an F40<\/a> or a LaFerrari<\/a>, a Lamborghini Si\u00e1n at nearly 3 million euros<\/a> or a single Pagani Zonda Roadster Diamante Verde<\/a> estimated at around 10 million euros, the two-time world champion of Formula 1<\/a> surprised everyone with a much older car... but perhaps even more mythical in the eyes of Italian car enthusiasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time, the Spaniard was photographed driving a Lancia Delta<\/a> HF Integrale Martini Racing. A car that epitomizes the golden age of Italian rallying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A rally icon turned collector's item<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Lancia<\/a> The Delta Integrale is no ordinary Italian sports car. Produced in the late 1980s and early 1990s, it remains one of the most memorable cars in the history of the World Rally Championship. With six consecutive manufacturers' titles won between 1987 and 1992, the Delta HF Integrale has built a legend that few other cars can claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Fernando Alonso seems perfectly attuned to this story. After making numerous appearances at the wheel of ultra-exclusive modern hypercars, seeing him in a Delta Integrale reminds us that a true enthusiast can appreciate a rally machine from the 90s just as much as a multi-million euro supercar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Lancia now worth a fortune<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What also makes this appearance interesting is the recent explosion in Delta Integrale prices. Long relatively affordable, some versions are now fetching sums unimaginable just a few years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We recently reported on the spectacular case of\u2019a Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione Martini 6 for sale<\/a> at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2026. Produced in just 310 examples to celebrate Lancia's sixth world rally title, this special series was in almost new condition, with just 2,367 kilometers on the odometer, period plastics still present and even a never-installed car radio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result: estimates for this Delta exceeded \u20ac325,000, with a range of up to \u20ac375,000. Completely insane figures for a former Italian compact, now treated as a genuine work of automotive art. Of course, the Delta seen with Fernando Alonso is not the exact example sold at auction, but it belongs to the same family that has become a cult among collectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alonso continues to show his love of Italian cars<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For several months now, Fernando Alonso has been making a series of high-profile appearances on the streets of Monaco. His Ferrari F40 had already caused quite a stir, as had his black Ferrari LaFerrari, estimated at around $4 million. More recently, his ultra-limited Lamborghini Si\u00e1n FKP 37 and his one-of-a-kind Pagani Zonda Roadster Diamante Verde confirmed the impressive size of his personal collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What's most striking is the consistency of the Aston Martin driver's garage.
