For several years, a young entrepreneur from Brittany (France) was a resounding success. At just 28 years of age, he was driving a Lamborghini<\/a>, the ultimate symbol of rapid upward social mobility. But behind this image lay an entirely different reality. Today, this same supercar has been auctioned off by the courts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between 2021 and 2023, this Saint-Brieuc-based entrepreneur canvassed homes of individuals, mainly the elderly, to offer them energy renovation work. The promises were seductive: state aid, tax credits and energy savings. In reality, however, the victims ended up taking out expensive loans for services that were often overpriced, poorly executed or even non-existent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In all, nearly sixty complaints were lodged, for an estimated loss of around 1.5 million euros. The authorities' investigation quickly brought to light the executive's lifestyle. During searches carried out in November 2023, investigators seized substantial assets, including a Lamborghini valued at between 220,000 and 290,000 euros, as well as nearly 44,000 euros in company accounts, over 30,000 euros in cash, an apartment valued at around 115,000 euros, a Rolex watch worth 10,000 euros, two jet-skis and several other vehicles. The Italian supercar was undoubtedly the most emblematic item in the million-euro collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the car, it's a Lamborghini Hurac\u00e1n LP640-4 Performante<\/a>. A particularly radical version of the famous Italian coup\u00e9, with a 640 hp naturally-aspirated V10 capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km\/h in less than three seconds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the second-hand market, a similar model today regularly exceeds 300,000 euros, while the cheapest models sell for around 270,000 to 290,000 euros, depending on condition and mileage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Convicted of defrauding vulnerable people, money laundering and deceptive business practices, the company director's sentence was confirmed by the Rennes Court of Appeal in April 2025. He will have to reimburse his victims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Against this backdrop, the courts proceeded with the resale of its seized assets. On Thursday February 26, 2026, the Hurac\u00e1n Performante was auctioned in Noyal-Ch\u00e2tillon-sur-Seiche, near Rennes, at the request of Agrasc (Agence de gestion et de recouvrement des avoirs saisis et confisqu\u00e9s). Priced at 100,000 euros, the supercar attracted attention from the moment its V10 engine started up in the auction room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hammer finally fell at 225,000 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Morbihan-based real estate agent has come away with this Lamborghini for what looks like a below-market acquisition. In the absence of information on its mileage, it's difficult to establish an exact price, but at this price level, the transaction looks interesting compared with current values, even if auction fees will probably have to be added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The car itself will no doubt continue to turn heads. But from now on, its story will be very different from the one its first owner wanted to embody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
