However, a MC20<\/a> A brand-new GT2 Stradale Edizione Corse, with just five kilometers on the clock, is being offered today by RM Sotheby's, with an estimate of between \u20ac390,000 and \u20ac490,000. An MC20 GT2 Stradale like no other<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The model on offer, numbered 06\/16, is part of the extremely limited series called Edizione Corse, designed to celebrate Maserati's podium finishes in the Fanatec 2024 GT2 championship. Only sixteen units will see the light of day, each equipped with a highly advanced sports package: titanium exhaust, Monodado forged wheels, carbon-enriched interior right down to the transmission tunnel, door sills and paddles. Painted Nero Essenza, combined with black wheels with blue anodized center nut and an interior blending black and blue Alcantara, this Edizione Corse also comes with a full set of Sparco-specific equipment: helmet, suit, gloves, shoes, bag and even a custom-designed Goodwool cover. A first indication of the value of the GT2 Stradale<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This auction offers a rare indication of the value of the GT2 Stradale. Sold new for around \u20ac310,000 excluding options and environmental tax, it now appears on the secondary market with an estimate that could exceed \u20ac450,000. An impressive delta for a model delivered just a few months ago. If the car finds a buyer in this range, Maserati will finally have a first concrete marker of what its most radical homologated supercar is really worth. A valuable piece of information for future collectors... and perhaps for the brand itself, in a context where manufacturers such as Lamborghini or Ferrari know perfectly well how to play on the notion of rarity to enhance the value of their special series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The unexpected revelation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

But the most astonishing information doesn't concern the Edizione Corse itself. A careful reading of the description reveals a figure that Maserati had never officially communicated before: 194 units of the MC20 GT2 Stradale will be produced. This number was completely unknown until now. Maserati had carefully avoided mentioning the total production figure, leaving the GT2 Stradale's exclusivity a mystery. Ironically, in the end, it's auction house RM Sotheby's that's offering the public this key figure. A surprising choice of communication, especially given the strategic importance of rarity in the valuation of a supercar. Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche have long understood this: announcing a limited production run immediately creates an effect of desirability. An opportunity, pending collector status?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Today, the MC20 GT2 Stradale represents one of the last non-hybridized, road-qualified racing supercars - a configuration that has become almost impossible in 2025, as standards have tightened. With 640 hp, 60 kg less weight, a top speed of 325 km\/h and a 0 to 100 km\/h time of 2.8 seconds, this model is without doubt the closest thing to a thoroughbred GT2 car suitable for everyday use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the world of Maserati, only a handful of models enter the very closed circle of icons: the MC12, with its spectacular sales, and the MCXtrema, currently unobtainable on the aftermarket.
