The Lamborghini Murci\u00e9lago<\/a> LP640 Versace Edition is one of them. And good news for collectors: a new, superbly preserved example has just appeared on the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iconic collaboration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Introduced in 2007, only 20 Murci\u00e9lago Versace Edition models were produced worldwide. The fruit of an exclusive collaboration between Automobili Lamborghini and Gianni Versace, it combines the aggressiveness of the Sant'Agata Bolognese V12 with the couture aesthetic of one of Italy's most famous designers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The model currently on sale boasts a particularly sought-after configuration: Bianco Isis color, gloss black Versace inserts and an interior combining Nero and Bianco Nappa leather decorated with the famous Versace Greek motif, entirely hand-stitched. All this is accompanied by a 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine, as impressive as ever with its 640 hp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An almost new copy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With just 3,880 miles (approx. 6,225 km) on the clock, this Murci\u00e9lago Versace Edition, number 3, is one of the freshest examples to appear in a long time. Both the interior and exterior bear witness to meticulous care. The vehicle is delivered with all its special features: badges, carbon finish, black Hermera wheels and original transparent engine cover. As is often the case with ultra-exclusive models, the seller quotes a price on request. But a quick analysis of the market allows us to estimate a realistic price range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How much is a Murci\u00e9lago Versace worth today?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Past transactions speak for themselves. In January 2024, a very similar Murci\u00e9lago LP640 Versace with 7,166 km sold for 240,500 $ on Collecting Cars. In 2022, Bring a Trailer recorded a recent record at 315,000 $ for another black example, with just 7 km. A number of Versace Roadster models have already appeared, with prices ranging from 275,000 $ to 300,000 $. In the light of these references, it's reasonable to imagine that the example freshly put up for sale by Sigma Automotive in Canada is now in the 250,000 to 300,000 $ range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Murci\u00e9lago LP640 Versace Edition embodies the apogee of an era when Lamborghini was still exploring daring artistic collaborations. It will be remembered as one of the most singular models ever produced, a bridge between haute couture and high performance.
