At first glance, the results for the third quarter of 2025 might suggest that Lamborghini<\/a> is slowing down. Deliveries are down slightly, sales are down a small percentage and operating profit is lower than in 2024. But as is often the case with the Sant'Agata Bolognese brand, reality is far more interesting than appearances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Logical decline in a year of transition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Between January and September 2025, Lamborghini delivered 8,140 cars to customers worldwide, down a modest 3.2 % on the same period in 2024 (8,411 units). A drop? Yes, but it needs to be put into perspective: production of the Hurac\u00e1n has ended, and its replacement, the Temerario<\/a>has not yet begun deliveries. In other words, Lamborghini has generated almost the same overall volume with two models instead of three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Historically, the Hurac\u00e1n represented around 3,000 deliveries per year. In 2025, only 633 units were delivered, essentially the last examples produced before the transition to the Temerario.
Despite this, the Italian brand's volumes remain close to record levels. The strength of the Urus + Revuelto duo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While most automakers are feeling the effects of the global slowdown and US customs tensions, Lamborghini is showing impressive resilience. The SUV Urus<\/a> continues to grow, with 5,995 deliveries over nine months, up 31.9 % on 2024. Its new Urus SE plug-in hybrid version appeals to both European and US customers, despite a more cautious delivery policy on the other side of the Atlantic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Revuelto<\/a>the brand's first plug-in hybrid supercar, continues its ascent. After 1,016 units delivered in the first half of the year, it reached 1,512 at the end of the third quarter, representing a spectacular year-on-year increase of 72 %. Yes, that's around 500 Lamborghini Revuletos at over 500,00 euros a unit, in one quarter! Order books are full until 2027, confirming that the Revuelto is already a pillar of Lamborghini's new electrified era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solid finances despite a slight downturn<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In financial terms, Lamborghini posted sales of 2.409 billion euros, virtually unchanged from 2024 (2.434 billion). Operating income came to 592 million euros, down from 678 million last year, but still with an exceptional margin of 24.6 %. Few manufacturers, even in the luxury segment, can boast such profitability (even within the same automotive group).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This slight drop in profitability can be explained by two factors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • capital expenditure related to the future electrified platform,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • and unfavorable exchange rates, combined with U.S. tariffs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    For Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann, these figures confirm \"the solidity of the industrial model\" and \"the coherence of the strategy of transition to a 100 % hybrid range\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Europe in the lead, China in retreat<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    With 40 % of deliveries, Europe remains Lamborghini's leading market. The United States follows with 27 %<\/strong>still highly exposed to local political decisions. China, on the other hand, continued to decline, dropping from 5 % to 4 % of the world total. This is in stark contrast to years when it accounted for almost 10 % of sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A false drop, real records in prospect<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In short, this 3 % drop in deliveries conceals a remarkable performance. Lamborghini is selling almost as many cars as in 2024, but without the Hurac\u00e1n, a model that previously accounted for a third of volumes. With the imminent launch of the Temerario, which is already proving exceptionally popular, Lamborghini could exceed 10,000 deliveries by this time next year, marking another record year.
