The leaks about the restyling of Alfa Romeo's Tonale compact SUV are coming thick and fast... and there's little room for surprise. After a first series of images appearing in August 2025<\/a>followed by highly realistic rendering<\/a> which have been widely circulated on the Internet, new visuals have just emerged. And this time, it's difficult to speak of simple sketches: these are technical documents in black and white, detailing in no uncertain terms the model's major evolutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A redesigned front, inspired by past and present<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In these diagrams, the new front bumper is clearly visible. One image shows the whole, another zooms in on the central part with a symbolic evolution: the license plate moves from a side position to a central one, emphasizing a more balanced face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the detail that will grab the attention of enthusiasts above all is, of course, the new Scudetto. It features a design inspired by that of the Alfa Romeo<\/a> 159, 147 or even Brera, with horizontal bars, while subtly recalling the 33 Stradale. A true visual signature, confirming the return to codes dear to aficionados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brand new rims<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another clue revealed by these documents: the Speciale and Veloce finishes will indeed be present at launch. As for the wheels, we discover four types of rims, including a new three-hole \"telephone\" design, an obvious homage to the brand's heritage that already exists on the Junior model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A strategic model for Alfa Romeo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The whole package reflects a clear desire to give the Tonale a more assertive, more aggressive personality, while anchoring it in Alfa Romeo history. The arrival of the restyled Tonale is imminent. The official presentation is scheduled for autumn 2025, and we'll have the opportunity to test drive it as early as the end of October. For Alfa Romeo, this is a key step: keeping the Tonale at the heart of the range, at a time when the little Junior SUV is capturing most of the commercial attention.
