The Fiat Grande Panda<\/a> finally hits the market! After some complicated months for the brand, marked by production problems in Serbia<\/a>deliveries are starting to arrive in larger volumes. As a result, the city car is making a remarkable entry into the European rankings, offering a breath of fresh air to Fiat<\/a> at the end of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Italy: a smashing entry into the top 10<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The newcomer hits hardest in its home market. In September 2025, 2,526 units of the Fiat Grande Panda were registered, putting it in 8th place, just behind the Dacia Duster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This performance is all the more remarkable given that the Grande Panda didn't even appear in the top 50 at the start of the summer. Month after month, its sales curve soared: 1,082 units in July, 1,100 in August, and this spectacular leap in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By way of comparison, the \"classic\" Fiat Panda continues to dominate, with 7,671 registrations in September, but the arrival of its big sister clearly diversifies and strengthens the range. The Fiat 600, meanwhile, continued its ascent with 1,299 units in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, the Fiat 500, waiting for the hybrid version<\/a>is still not in the Italian top 50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In France: a mixed picture<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In France, the Fiat 600 had a good year, with 6,402 units registered between January and September 2025, up +3.6 % on 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fiat 500, on the other hand, is in freefall: only 3,348 registrations<\/strong>lations over the same period<\/strong>a collapse of 81 %.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for the Panda, our statistics provider still mixes up the Panda and the Grande Panda, but the total is up sharply: 4,324 units in the first nine months of the year (+62 1TP3Q), including 1,066 in September 2025 alone, which suggests that there is some Grande Panda in the mix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Spain: the Fiat 600 drives sales<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Spain confirms the importance of the Fiat 600 in the brand's strategy. With 4,405 registrations from January to September 2025, it alone accounts for more than 50 % of Fiat sales in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fiat Grande Panda is off to a slower start, with 614 units since the start of the year, including 255 in September. The Panda (1,954 units), the 500 (670 units) and the Tipo (337 units) are next in line for the January-September 2025 period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Germany and outside Europe: waiting markets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In Germany, September registrations have not yet been published. This will be a key market to watch for Fiat, as it can largely influence the success of the Grande Panda (even if less fond of B-segment models).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
