Followed in 1969 by the 246 GT, it gained in displacement (2.4 L) and power (195 hp), but remained far from the performance of the Ferrari V12. At the time, Enzo Ferrari decided to name it Dino rather than Ferrari, in tribute to his late son, Alfredo \"Dino\" Ferrari, who had contributed to the development of the V6 engine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many love it for its style, its history. The aluminum body, painted in a superb deep metallic blue, has been handcrafted using classic methods, down to the smallest detail. This is far from a simple restoration project: here, every part has been thought through, tested and adjusted, and the whole exudes quality. It has been replaced by a deeply modified Ferrari 328 V8 block. Scaled up to 3.8 liters, equipped with titanium connecting rods, lightened pistons, modern fuel injection, latest-generation electronic management and TubiStyle exhaust system, this engine transforms the car without altering its spirit.
