It was launched about a year ago, but few people have really talked about it. And yet.., this Alfa Romeo<\/a> 4C transformed into a speedster by Harse Autocraft is a jewel of craftsmanship.<\/strong> Inspired by modern barchettas like the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2, today it's a unique automobile, designed to offer a pure, raw, windshield-less driving experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An extreme project born of an already radical vision<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It all began with a half-transformed Alfa Romeo 4C. The owner had already removed the windscreen, starting the transformation into a radical speedster.<\/strong> Harse Autocraft, a workshop based in Ontario (Canada), accepted the challenge of completing the transformation, with a clear objective: to give the impression that the car had been designed like this in the factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first problem was that removing the windscreen left an unsightly crossbar visible, although this was essential to the rear engine hood opening system, which is hinged at its center. The team had to come up with an elegant solution that retained functionality while streamlining the design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harse Autocraft then imagined two individual hoops behind each seat, inspired by the Porsche Carrera GT. These custom-made \"hoops\" replace the center bar and incorporate new attachment points for the hood hinges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This approach avoids cumbersome modifications to the rear fenders or hood, while ensuring a coherent overall design. Each element is designed to integrate harmoniously, giving the illusion of an official model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design true to Alfa Romeo DNA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Painted in the iconic Rosso Competizione, this 4C speedster captivates with its sharp silhouette. The new lines reinforce the model's sporty character while eliminating anything superfluous. The open cockpit, aluminum hoops, golden wheels and reworked air intakes evoke a machine built for the racetrack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The finish is exemplary, with an attention to detail typical of Harse Autocraft, which defines its approach as artistic as well as technical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This 4C speedster is a pure one-off. A personal vision, turned into reality thanks to real know-how. Almost unnoticed when it first came out, it now deserves to be (re)discovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
