In June 2020, the scene had shocked car enthusiasts the world over. A Ferrari F40, the absolute icon of the Prancing Horse, caught fire in Monaco before the incredulous eyes of passers-by.<\/strong> Images of the charred supercar, immobilized on the Monegasque asphalt, made the rounds of the planet and led to the belief that this jewel of Italian engineering was irretrievably lost. And yet... the miracle is about to happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An almost impossible restoration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the days following the fire, rumors of a restoration project had already emerged.<\/strong> The damage was colossal: the entire rear of the car had been destroyed, the engine reduced to ashes, the chassis weakened, the passenger compartment charred... An apocalyptic vision. But it was a Ferrari F40. Only 1,315 examples of this model were produced worldwide, and it now fetches well over 2 million euros on the collectors' market. The carcass was stored at the Ferrari dealership in Monaco, then entrusted to RM Autosport. The objective: a complete rebuild, from the engine to the smallest details of the interior. And according to the latest information from PRODIVERCZ, the mission is finally coming to an end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The return of an automotive myth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Five years after the incident, this F40 is ready to hit the road again. <\/strong>A complete resurrection: new engine and gearbox, rebuilt chassis, total redesign of the interior... Almost everything has been redone. The price tag, meanwhile, promises to be staggering, with some suggesting a restoration cost of several hundred thousand euros. But for its owner, who loves the brand, reviving this legend is priceless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The car should be back on the road by the end of 2025. <\/strong>A victory for automotive heritage. While many vehicles would have ended up on the scrap heap in such condition, this F40 proves that a myth never really dies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
