These two specialists, in simulation and aerodynamics respectively, join Ferrari after spells with rival teams Mercedes and Red Bull Racing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Christos Christoforidis: simulation specialist<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Christos Christoforidis, with his experience as an engineer with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team,<\/strong> joined Ferrari in March 2025 as F1 simulation development specialist. His expertise in simulation and modeling, acquired during his two years at Brackley, makes him a valuable asset to the Scuderia. Prior to that, Christoforidis worked as an R&amp;D engineer at CIXI. His arrival at Ferrari will reinforce the team in charge of the simulator to optimize on-track performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Coen Holland: aerodynamics specialist<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Coen Holland, meanwhile, joins Ferrari in May 2025 as an aerodynamicist. <\/strong>This young talent, who has been with Red Bull Racing for over a year, brings with him a wealth of experience in aerodynamics. Holland has contributed to Red Bull's aerodynamic development projects, notably through the use of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics). These skills will be crucial to the development of Ferrari's future single-seaters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ferrari continues to recruit talent from other teams<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>These two recruitments are not the first in a series. Ferrari has recently attracted other experts from big names in the paddock, including Vicenzo Ivano Caviglia from Alpine (7 years' experience on power units), Ben Daniels from Aston Martin, and several engineers from Mercedes, such as Andrea Mannarino and Miguel Garc\u00eda Botija. <strong>These recruitments demonstrate the Scuderia's clear desire to strengthen its technical expertise, while integrating young, promising talent.<\/strong> And let's not forget J\u00e9r\u00f4me d'Ambrosio, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Vasseur's new deputy, and Lo\u00efc Serra, both of whom joined Scuderia Ferrari from Mercedes in October 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite a difficult 2025 season and constant pressure to recapture past successes, Ferrari continues to look to the future with optimism.
