The objective is clear: to make the models more attractive and revive a sluggish sales dynamic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here are a few examples of the models concerned:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Alfa Romeo Tonale MHEV: \u00a5250,000, or approximately \u20ac1,500<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alfa Romeo Tonale PHEV: -500,000 \u00a5, i.e. -3,000 \u20ac approx.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fiat 600e: -300,000 \u00a5, i.e. -1,800 \u20ac approx.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jeep Avenger: -300,000 \u00a5, i.e. -1,800 \u20ac approx.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Peugeot 2008 and 408 GT: - \u00a5200,000 to - \u00a5300,000, i.e. - \u20ac1,200 and - \u20ac1,800 approximately<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DS3: - \u00a5266,000, or - \u20ac1,600<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A direct response to falling sales<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Why such a drop? Even the well-established Jeep suffered a decline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Alfa Romeo case: same strategy as in the United States<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The reduction applied in Japan is not an isolated case. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/en\/alfa-romeo\/alfa-romeo-tonale-2025-slight-price-increase-everywhere-except-in-one-country\/\">In the United States, Stellantis recently made a massive reduction in its Tonale<\/a> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PHEV version: -6,000 $<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hybrid MHEV version: -4,000 $<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A pricing offensive... and a sales alert<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This price revision reflects Stellantis' more pragmatic strategy in Japan, with a view to winning back customers.<\/strong> It also underlines the Group's commercial fragility in this market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stellantis Japan's hope? That these new prices will enable the group's European brands to regain visibility in the face of overwhelming local competition.
