Rigorous field testing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Development tests on the new Stelvio continue at the Stellantis test center in Arjeplog, Sweden. <\/strong>These tests are carried out on prototypes assembled at the Mirafiori plant in Turin, in the division dedicated to prototype production. This first batch of vehicles is undergoing extremely rigorous testing in extreme climatic conditions, with temperatures sometimes reaching -30\u00b0C. These tests are designed to validate the simulations carried out in virtual reality and on driving simulators, ensuring that the vehicle meets Alfa Romeo's standards of quality, reliability and performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to testing in icy conditions, the future Stelvio will undergo a more extensive testing program in temperate climates, with over 1,500 hours of circuit testing, including at the Balocco test center in Italy. These stages are essential to ensure that the SUV is capable of delivering the expected performance in all driving conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extensive technical testing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Technical testing is not limited to road and track driving. <\/strong>The Stelvio also undergoes highly specific tests on simulation benches to verify the reliability and efficiency of its propulsion and battery systems. These tests represent no less than 4,000 hours of simulations, with the aim of validating the vehicle's advanced technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
