As the Australian Grand Prix approaches, the atmosphere in the paddock is starting to heat up. F1<\/a>. While McLaren is the subject of much speculation following its fine performance during winter testing in Bahrain, another team may well have hidden its true colours: Ferrari.<\/strong> According to McLaren driver Lando Norris, the Scuderia Ferrari<\/a> could surprise many this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lando Norris, one of the favourites for the title of 2025 champion, wasted no time in to express his frustration at the media pressure surrounding McLaren.<\/strong> \"Everyone's talking about us, but it's mainly because of this race simulation, a good long race in ideal conditions,\" explains Norris. However, what really caught the eye was the way Norris approached the Ferrari question.<\/strong> \"I know how much fuel and other things Ferrari had for a good part of the testing in Bahrain,\" said the Briton. \"You'll be surprised how fast they'll be this weekend,\" he added. An intriguing warning from Norris, who was quick to suggest that Ferrari may have been hiding its potential during testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After months of news surrounding the arrival of Lewis Hamilton<\/a> at Ferrari and other big announcements, Ferrari seems to have opted for a more discreet approach during winter testing.<\/strong> Although McLaren made the headlines with its performance, particularly in race simulation, Ferrari may have hidden its true performance for the coming season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Testing in Bahrain doesn't always reveal the full potential of the teams.<\/strong> What if Ferrari had decided not to reveal the full performance of its car, opting to hide its cards during testing to better surprise its rivals at the season opener?
