So what elements remain in this new SF-25, and where does this remaining 1 % come from?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We already talked about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/en\/competition\/ferrari-f1-the-first-indiscretions-on-the-new-sf-25-677\/\">first hints about the SF-25 \/ 677<\/a> a few weeks ago, under the guidance of Lo\u00efc Serra, who recently joined Ferrari after a spell with Mercedes, <strong>the SF-25 benefits from radical changes.<\/strong> The chassis has been completely redesigned, notably with the introduction of the pull-rod suspension system at the front, an innovation tested to offer improved cornering behavior. This major change, inspired by Mercedes, is one of the most visible and significant developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The aerodynamic design of the SF-25 has undergone a complete overhaul compared to the SF-24.<\/strong> The sidepods, in particular, have been redesigned to be more compact and better optimize airflow. Aerodynamics is one of the key areas in which Ferrari is striving to catch up with its rivals. This work is partly inspired by Red Bull's design, particularly in the optimization of airflow to the rear of the car. While the changes are radical, it should be noted that<strong> the central structure of the airbox remains largely identical to that of the SF-24, in particular the triangular shape of the air intake, <\/strong>which has been a hallmark of Ferrari design since the F1-75 in 2022. Instead, the Maranello team has opted to optimize existing cooling systems. The aerodynamics of the hood have been adjusted to improve heat flow, a crucial element for<strong> maintain optimum temperatures during hot races.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The launch of the SF-25 is imminent. <\/strong>As the 2026 regulations approach, the Scuderia wants to ensure that its 2025 car is a real springboard for the future, while meeting the immediate challenges of the 2025 season.
