At present, the electric Fiat 500 is produced on the STLA City platform, while the Fiat Panda is based on the former Fiat Mini platform. However, major changes are on the horizon for both models, including <strong>for their new generations planned for 2030.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a reminder, we had already revealed that the Fiat 500, currently produced at Mirafiori, will undergo an evolution planned for 2026, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/en\/fiat\/new-fiat-500-electric-new-battery-and-release-date-our-exclusive-information\/\">with the integration of a new battery supplied by CATL<\/a>. In fact, the brand is planning a long-awaited major update, offering improved autonomy and a lower price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Then, in 2030, new generations of Fiat 500 and Panda will be launched.<\/strong> Although it was initially thought that these two models might adopt the STLA Small platform, which is optimized for vehicles in the A to C segment (such as the Peugeot 208 or Opel Corsa), this does not appear to be the case. This seems logical, as the STLA City could continue to play a central role in the production of compact models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And, contrary to initial expectations, <strong>the STLA Small platform will be reserved for vehicles in the B and C segments. <\/strong>Stellantis seems to have added many more platforms than expected to its STLA range, which now includes STLA City, STLA Smart, STLA Small, STLA Medium, STLA Large and STLA Frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With these evolving platforms, it makes sense to <strong>believe that a new family of Stellantis products could emerge in 2030, including A-segment vehicles.<\/strong> This could even mark the return of models like the Citro\u00ebn C1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For these new models, we can imagine the integration of new LFP batteries, from the Spanish plant of the Stellantis\/CATL joint venture, and M1 or M2 electric motors developed by Emotors.
