2025 promises to be an exciting year for Alfa Romeo<\/a> with a number of striking new features. Between the arrival of the Junior Q4, an expected restyling for the Tonale and the presentation of the all-new Stelvio, here's a glimpse of what's in store for you in the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Alfa Romeo Junior Q4: orders now open<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Junior Q4 is now available to order in Germany and Belgium, with first deliveries scheduled for April 2025.<\/strong>. The hybrid model, with all-wheel drive, features a 136 hp, 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, accompanied by two electric motors, each rated at 21 kW, for a total output of 145 hp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Junior Q4, priced from \u20ac37,000 in Germany and \u20ac36,700 in Belgium, is particularly well suited to difficult weather and road conditions, thanks to its all-wheel drive system. The first units will be delivered in April 2025, but orders in other countries such as France, Italy and the UK are still pending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Alfa Romeo Tonale: an update planned for mid-2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First presented in 2022, the Alfa Romeo Tonale C-SUV has had a chequered career<\/strong>. Although the model got off to a promising start, sales fell in 2024<\/a>particularly in key markets such as Italy, France and Spain. In December 2024, the Junior even surpassed the Tonale in terms of sales. Faced with this decline, Alfa Romeo has decided to react by announcing an upgrade to the Tonale, scheduled for summer 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the precise details remain unclear, the restyling is expected to include design and technology enhancements. A slightly updated version has already been released<\/a>This restyling should be the real transformation. In particular, we're expecting changes to the scudetto, new exterior colors and perhaps new finishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Alfa Romeo Tonale: 2.0L petrol engine for the US market<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another new feature is the expansion of Tonale's engine range in the United States.<\/strong>. Until now, this model has only been offered with hybrid powertrains, but it will be now available with the 2.0L GME engine<\/a> of the Giulia and Stelvio, offering 268 hp. This new version will be offered at an attractive starting price of 36,000 $, 8,000 $ less than the 1.3L PHEV plug-in hybrid version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new offering is designed to appeal to an American public looking for high performance at a competitive price. However, one question remains: why won't this engine be offered in Europe? It would appear that CO2 emission standards play a role in this decision, reserving this engine for an American market less constrained by these criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. The new Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV: what we know a few months before its unveiling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Stelvio is one of Alfa Romeo's most eagerly awaited models for 2025<\/strong>. After a career spanning almost nine years, the current generation will give way to a new SUV to be presented in the first half of the year. The new Stelvio will be built on Stellantis' STLA Large platform, a base reserved for high-end vehicles and already used for electric models such as the Jeep Wagoneer S and the Dodge Charger Daytona. It will be the first European model to adopt this platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of design, the future Stelvio should draw inspiration from the lines of the Junior, while retaining its own distinct identity. The model should adopt trendy elements such as \"sportback\" styling. The new rear light signature has already been teased<\/a>. The greatest appeal of the new Stelvio lies in its powertrains.
