The Alfa Romeo Tonale, the Italian brand's C-SUV Alfa Romeo<\/a>The new model made its first appearance in 2022, promising to bring new sales volume to the automaker. While the early part of its career was encouraging, with sales representing more than half of the brand's registrations in 2023<\/a>s, the final figures for 2024<\/a> highlighted a certain setback. In fact, in key markets such as Italy, France and Spain, Tonale sales have plummeted, and in December 2024<\/a>the Junior SUV, has even surpassed the Tonale in terms of sales.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This drop in popularity in 2024 prompted Alfa Romeo to react, and a major update of Tonale is expected<\/strong>. If a slightly updated version has been recently presented with a new central tunnel<\/a>the real evolution of the model should arrive in the summer of 2025. According to exclusive information from Italpassion, a major restyling of the Tonale is planned<\/strong>with a technological update that could revitalize SUV sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the precise details of this update are still unclear, it seems clear that Alfa Romeo wants to bring its Tonale back into the limelight. This restyling comes after three years of the model's career, and should therefore focus on the weak points identified by consumers and industry professionals. Its design could be similar to that of the Junior and the future Stelvio.<\/strong> But they could also be lighter evolutions: evolution of the scudetto, new exterior colors, new finishes...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Stelvio SUV will also be presented in 2025, but the first deliveries are not expected until early 2026. Alfa Romeo will therefore be able to rely mainly on the Tonal and Junior for sales in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
