Overview of Ferrari 2024 sales<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To understand Ferrari's sales dynamics, it's crucial to look at results in several key markets: the USA, Japan, Germany, the UK, Italy and France. In these countries, Ferrari recorded 8,483 sales in 2024, an increase of 8.74 % on the previous year.<\/strong>which ended the year at 7,801 units. These results demonstrate a solid overall performance, but some markets are experiencing stronger growth than others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

United States still ahead<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The United States remains Ferrari's flagship market. In 2024, the brand sold 3,527 units, representing an increase of 12.90 % on 2023. Americans continue to embrace Ferrari models, particularly the Purosangue SUV and the Ferrari F80. Although Lamborghini is rapidly gaining market share in the United States, Ferrari retains its leadership position in this strategic market. The month of December was exceptional, with 430 registrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Germany overtakes Japan to become number 2<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Germany, meanwhile, stands out with an impressive 11 % increase on the previous year.<\/strong>. In 2024, 1,827 units were sold, compared with 1,646 in 2023. Ferrari has captured the attention of German consumers, particularly with its hybrid models, which are increasingly appealing in a European market sensitive to ecological issues. The score could have been even better, and strangely enough, only in Germany, registrations plummeted in the 2nd half of 2024<\/strong>just like Lamborghini registrations over the same period<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Japan<\/strong>also turned in a remarkable performance. With 1,445 units sold in 2024 (an increase of 3.58 % on 2023). Nevertheless, growth was more modest, and the country now ranks 3rd best customer behind Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The United Kingdom regresses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The UK is a market that showed signs of slowing down in 2024. In 2023, Ferrari had sold 984 units, but in 2024 this figure fell to 940 units, with a decrease of 4.47 %<\/strong>. The British market seems to have less appetite for Ferrari models this year, a decline that will have to be watched closely, especially with strong competition from local brands such as Aston Martin and McLaren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Italy: the house of Ferrari continues to shine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Even if growth is more moderate in its domestic market, Italy remains solid ground for Ferrari.<\/strong> In 2024, the brand sold 744 units, up 14.11 % on 2023. Italians, loyal to their automotive heritage, continue to favor Ferrari, despite growing competition such as Lamborghini also breaks records here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

France: modest but present<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

France, meanwhile, recorded weaker results than the other countries, with just 347 sales in 2024, compared with 319 in 2023, representing growth of 8.78 1TP3Q. Although the increase is there, France remains well behind the performance of other countries, but that's still reasonable when you consider the country's record ecological malus. More PHEV models could help boost volumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will 2024 be another record year?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In short, 2024 looks set to be another successful year for Ferrari, with solid sales in its traditional markets.<\/strong> However, some countries, such as the UK and France, are showing signs of weakness that could put the brakes on the brand's future growth. In the meantime, in these 6 countries, Ferrari posted growth close to 9 %. By way of comparison, of the 13,663 sales in 2023, 7,801 were achieved in these 6 countries. All in all, Ferrari could well have exceeded 14,000 registrations by 2024.<\/strong> We're waiting for the official figures to be published in a few weeks' time to find out the final verdict!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
