After the launch of the B-SUV Junior in 2024, the Stelvio in 2025 and the Giulia in 2026, the enigma of future models continues. Alfa Romeo<\/a> from 2027 is becoming increasingly intriguing. Although it is Almost certain to see a new Tonale using the STLA Medium platform in 2027, plans beyond that remain unclear.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his statements for 2023, Jean-Philippe Imparato, then CEO of Alfa Romeo and now CEO of Stellantis Europe, spoke of a long-term product plan for models 2028 to 2030, to be validated in September 2023<\/strong>. One announcement caught our attention: at the same time, he also announced thatAlfa Romeo planned to bring back the Alfetta<\/strong>. This legendary model was the soul of the brand in the 1970s, would return to a C<\/strong> so as not to be reserved exclusively for the Tonale, anchored in the C-SUV segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It's almost 2025 and the rumours have been flying: Alfetta, new Giulietta, large SUV<\/a>and even more recently GTV<\/a> ! What if the Alfetta, Giulietta and GTV were really the same model?<\/strong> According to our information, the new Giulietta could in fact be renamed Alfetta GT, with a \"Veloce\" version called GTV for performance enthusiasts. Remember that in 2022,<\/strong> a document we had already obtained indicated thata new Giulietta, on the STLA Medium platform<\/strong>a possible cousin of the future Peugeot 308 and DS4. A segment of compact sedans, in the C segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But here's a major new clue in favour of the Alfetta's return!<\/strong> In March 2023, FCA Italy registered the \"ALFETTA\" trademark in class 12, specifically dedicated to automobiles. Other registered trademarks include \"Topolino\", \"Giulietta\" (in 2017), \"Tonale\", \"Duetto\" (2018), \"Delta\" (2018), \"4C\", \"Giulia\", \"Stelvio\". The registration of the Alfetta trademark in 2023 is the most recent, and leaves little room for doubt.<\/strong> as to the brand's intention. This was validated and published in May 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, what are we to make of all this? The Giulietta will return, but under the name Alfetta or Alfetta GT.<\/strong> The name could be Alfetta GTV, for the Veloce version. As for the bodywork, it could be halfway between a crossover sedan and a coup\u00e9 SUV, like the Opel Manta concept or the Peugeot 408. It will be positioned below the slightly longer Giulia, on the STLA Large platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
