But, while it has been unveiled 6 months ago<\/a>one question remains: How much will the hybrid version of the Fiat Grande Panda cost? <\/strong>While Fiat is focusing on its 100 % electric version, for which prices are already known and the first deliveries are beginning to be slow in coming<\/a>is the hybrid thermal version, which seems to be attracting just as much, if not more, attention<\/strong>. While the combustion-hybrid version is Fiat's big news, it is also intended to be an \"affordable\" entry-level model. However, Fiat has not yet announced the price of this hybrid version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initially, some rumours suggested a price of less than \u20ac20,000<\/strong>A price that would have made the Fiat Grande Panda hybrid a real success in the affordable category. But as the launch approaches, a surprise seems to be in the offing: it could end up being a price higher than this estimate<\/strong>. What are the reasons for this extra cost, and what price can we really expect?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A comparison with the Citro\u00ebn C3 hybrid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To better understand the situation, a little math is in order. Comparing the Fiat Grande Panda hybrid with the Citro\u00ebn C3<\/strong>A direct technical cousin, the prices are revealing. Here's a table comparing the prices of electric and hybrid models from these two brands, with the resulting estimates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you can see, the Fiat generally more expensive than Citro\u00ebn<\/strong>and this trend could continue with the Fiat Grande Panda. A price deliberately close to the electric version?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If the Fiat Grande Panda hybrid is indeed launched at this estimated price of \u20ac21,300, it raises an interesting question: could this price be closer to that of the 100 % electric version?<\/strong> of the Fiat Grande Panda, which is priced at \u20ac24,900? With government subsidies in force in certain European countries, the electric version could become less expensive than the thermal hybrid version<\/strong>This would be an astonishing reversal of the usual logic of hybrid models, which are often more affordable, and therefore sell more, than their all-electric counterparts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 100 % electric version of the Fiat Grande Panda is already available to order in several European countries. The orders in France began in October 2024<\/a><\/strong>deliveries are scheduled for January 2025. On the other hand, in countries such as Germany, Austria and Portugal, orders have only just begun since December 2024. In Italy, orders are not yet open.<\/strong> and it looks like the 100 % electric version will be launched at the same time as the hybrid versions, hopefully in January 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
