The Maserati MC20 is making its mark on the GT2 scene. After several victories<\/a>the latest triumph on the legendary Monza circuit<\/strong> further enhances the MC20's reputation and offers a beautiful advert for the all-new Maserati GT2 Stradale<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A winning weekend at Monza<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Monza circuit, recently renovated, has seen Maserati takes the top spots<\/strong> in round 5 of the Fanatec GT2 European Series. In the first race, Maseratis monopolized the podium, with the #1 car of Leonardo Gorini and Carlo Tamburini (LP Racing) finishing victorious. Alexandre Leroy (TFT Racing) not only took second place, but also won the AM class, while Philippe Prette (LP Racing) completed the podium in third place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second race was not short of drama. Gorini and Tamburini, who started from the back of the grid due to a problem in qualifying, made a spectacular comeback to take second place. Unfortunately, Prette, leading the AM category, suffered a puncture on the final lap, relegating him to ninth place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Maserati GT2 Stradale: a great publicity stunt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Beyond on-track performance, Maserati took advantage of the event to showcase a model that could become an object of desire for gentlemen drivers: the Maserati GT2 Stradale. <\/strong>Presented to the public for the first time at Monterey Car Week in California, this road-legal supercar combines the extreme performance of the GT2 with the elegance of the MC20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a top speed of 324 km\/h and 640 hp, the GT2 Stradale promises thrills, especially on the racetrack. With a 0 to 100 km\/h time of 2.8 seconds, this model perfectly illustrates Maserati's DNA for those who want to drive a sporty car on a daily basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A promising first season for Maserati in GT2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This latest GT2 victory comes as no surprise to those who have been following the season closely. Since its debut in the Fanatec GT2 European Series, thehe Maserati MC20 has established itself as one of the best-performing cars in the championship.<\/strong>. With teams such as LP Racing and TFT Racing, the MC20 shone, taking numerous podiums in both the Pro-Am and AM categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The LP Racing team is currently second in the Pro-Am standings, and TFT Racing is third in AM, just behind the Akkodis team with their Mercedes AMG GT2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Maserati, these competition successes embody the brand's revival and its ability to produce sports cars capable of competing with the best. And what better way to bridge the gap between the MC20's performance on the racetrack and its road-legal counterpart, the GT2 Stradale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To round off the season, the final round of the Fanatec GT2 European Series is scheduled for October 11-13 in Barcelona, Spain.
