Environmental legislation, in particular the crushing ecological malus which will reach a peak of \u20ac60,000 in 2024, has had a major impact on the brand's sales in France. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/en\/maserati\/maserati-2023-sales-figures-for-france\/\">In 2023, Maserati recorded just 187 units sold<\/a>a drastic fall attributable to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/en\/alfa-romeo\/alfa-romeo-and-maserati-the-paradox-of-phev-technology\/\">the absence of rechargeable electric models (PHEV)<\/a> in its range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the tide may be turning for the manufacturer with the Trident. <strong>Maserati has just launched two all-electric models: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/en\/maserati\/orders-open-for-the-maserati-granturismo-electric-heres-the-price\/\">the Granturismo Folgore<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/en\/maserati\/orders-now-open-for-maseratis-first-electric-suv-heres-the-price-tag\/\">the Grecale Folgore<\/a>. <\/strong>These new models are not only on a par with the competition, but could even surpass it in terms of performance and price. All-electric, these vehicles are exempt from environmental taxes, a considerable advantage in the French market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to our sources, <strong>Maserati has big ambitions for 2024, aiming to quadruple sales to 900 units.<\/strong> This target is particularly ambitious, given that Maserati's sales record in France dates back to 2016, with 732 vehicles sold, a success largely due to the launch of the Levante SUV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Grecale Folgore, a 100 % electric SUV priced from \u20ac123,000, could play a key role in this strategy. <\/strong>This model is likely to attract both private and business customers, thanks to its zero environmental impact, its performance and its brand image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Referring to Porsche's success in 2022 with the sale of 614 Taycans, its only 100 % electric model, in France, <strong>Maserati has every reason to be optimistic.<\/strong> The Italian brand is counting on its new electric models to revitalize its presence on the French market, and can keep its combustion models for markets where the malus is still bearable or even non-existent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2024 promises to be a turning point for Maserati in France<\/strong>. With its new electric models, the brand is aligning itself with current ecological trends.
