He was less forthcoming about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/en\/alfa-romeo\/\">Alfa Romeo<\/a>. The Italian brand was the subject of a dedicated press release, <strong>announcing +39 % of sales compared with N-1, including +10 % in the third quarter of 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For certain European countries, the press release states:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Italy: + 95.3 %<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Germany + 83 %<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Belgium + 82 %<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>France + 72 %<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For the region, Africa-Middle East + 128 %, including + 160 % for Turkey. And in Asia, the press release shows just +27 % compared with Q3 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What does this mean in practical terms? Let's start with a reminder <strong>2022 figures. It was Alfa Romeo's worst year in two decades.<\/strong> It's therefore only logical to congratulate ourselves on achieving a better result than last year with a new compact SUV. In Germany, registrations are down slightly, as are those in Spain, Turkey and Belgium. France is doing well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The 3rd quarter, although up, seems to mark a slowdown in sales<\/strong>... let's wait and see what happens in Q4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the ladleful, <strong>Alfa Romeo therefore had to register just over 50,000 vehicles in 3 quarters.<\/strong> Barring an accident, it would be logical for it to exceed 70,000 units in 2023, returning to 2019 levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Special mentions for the USA and China.  The first country may not remain 2nd in the ranking in 2024 if <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/en\/alfa-romeo\/for-the-moment-the-dodge-hornet-sells-more-than-lalfa-romeo-tonal-usa\/\">the Tonale fails to live up to its billing against the Dodge Hornet<\/a>and will certainly not be seduced by the future B-SUV. For the second, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/en\/alfa-romeo\/alfa-romeo-persist-in-china-with-the-opening-of-a-new-concession\/\">Alfa Romeo persists in opening a new dealership<\/a> while customers are no longer buying the Giulia and Stelvio, will not, a priori, be keen on the Tonale or the future B-SUV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In conclusion, <strong>Yes, Alfa Romeo will always be able to congratulate itself on a 2023 that's bound to be better than previous years.<\/strong> But it's starting from such a low base...
