A hard blow for one of the most beautiful compact cars of these last 10 years, all brands included...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10 years old<\/strong>This is the (canonical) age of the venerable Giulietta.&nbsp;<strong>Launched in 2010<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>restyled<\/strong>&nbsp;a first time (timidly)&nbsp;<strong>in 2013<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>then more visibly in 2016<\/strong>&nbsp;(black honeycomb grille, new font on the trunk...), the Giulietta has had to live with&nbsp;<strong>special series and other minor novelties<\/strong>&nbsp;(new rims, new colors...) A management without great scope or real ambition as the years went by. So, no miracle on the production side...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2019 has been a negative year for the beautiful Giulietta<\/strong>&nbsp;which more or less manages to hide its external wrinkles (it's more questionable on the inside...).&nbsp;<strong>The figures are down by -41%<\/strong>The Giulietta is no longer able to guarantee the brand's results and future. The Giulietta is therefore no longer able to guarantee the results and the durability of the brand, which will have carried the fate of the Milanese firm on its shoulders between 2010 and 2016 (with the MiTo too)...<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Giulietta-Phase-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12806\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>As such, the model year presented in Geneva in March 2019 will have had no impact on production and sales figures. With&nbsp;<strong>15,690 units sold in 2019<\/strong>According to Carsalesbase figures, this is a&nbsp;<strong>collapse compared to 2018 when more than 26,000 Giuliettas were sold<\/strong>. It is therefore<strong>&nbsp;more than 10,000 units lost in one year<\/strong>making 2019 the<strong>worst year of career<\/strong>&nbsp;of the beautiful Italian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The peak in production was reached in&nbsp;<strong>2011<\/strong>for the first full year of commercialization, with&nbsp;<strong>over 78,000 units<\/strong>&nbsp;sold. By 2012, the numbers had dropped, with \"only\" 60,000 units put on the road (but there was a crisis in the European car market). In the following years, from 2013 to 2016, between restylings and limited series, between 40,000 and 45,000 units were sold each year. But despite the beautiful restyling of 2016, and after 7 years of career, and at a time when the competitors pass the baton to the new generation, the Giulietta persisted.&nbsp;<strong>2017 was also closed down, with only 32,000 units. then 26,000 in 2018 and less than 16,000 in 2019...<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In total, we are approaching 418,000 copies sold in 10 years of career<\/strong>&nbsp;(excluding 2020 figures).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No new generation of compacts is planned for the moment<\/strong>The Italian brand is relying on the Tonale.
