This 1900 hp Pininfarina Battista supercar is for sale at a very surprising price... for an electric car!

Unveiled in 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show, the Pininfarina Battista is the first 100 % electric hypercar to be signed by the company. PininfarinaNot only does it bear a legendary name, that of founder Battista "Pinin" Farina, it also embodies a mission: to reconcile zero emissions with extreme performance.

Beneath its sculptural silhouette, the Battista houses four electric motors delivering a total of 1,900 hp and 2,300 Nm of torque, enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.86 seconds. That's as fast as a modern Formula 1 car. Its top speed reaches 350 km/h, and its announced range exceeds 470 km thanks to a 120 kWh battery. Nothing to be ashamed of when compared to a Ferrari Elettrica.

A rare copy for sale... in Canada

Only 150 examples of the Battista are to be produced, including special versions such as the Edizione Nino Farina, a tribute to the first F1 world champion. One of these models has just gone on sale in Canada, at Grand Touring Automobiles, a dealership renowned for its selection of exceptional cars.

The model in question, a Battista Edizione Nino Farina 2024, has just 62 miles on the clock (approx. 100 km). Its deep red exterior contrasts with an immaculate white interior, true to Italian elegance. But the real eye-catcher is the price: just over 3.5 million US dollars.

A price... that surprises

Why is this price "very unexpected"? Because in 2019, when it was first presented, the Battista was priced at around $3.3 million at the time. In other words, this electric hypercar hasn't lost value, and has even slightly gained value (unless you take options into account), a rare phenomenon on the market, especially for an electric car.

Is La Battista proving that an electric supercar can retain its value in the same way as a Ferrari or a combustion Pagani? Nothing is certain yet, of course. The advertised price is not necessarily the price at which the car will be sold.

Ratings still fluctuating

To give some perspective, a Battista 2023 with 193 miles was offered in August 2025 for $2.79 million, while in Switzerland, a 9,900 km example is currently selling for 2.35 million euros.

These discrepancies show that the model's rating remains unstable, and that the market is still in the process of determining the true value of a limited-edition electric hypercar.

  1. Superb supercar! The base borrows a lot from Rimac, which is rather positive. Note that it's not the Pininfarina design office but a German company that has bought the license to the name (but the vehicle is designed by Pininfarina!!).
